My review is more of a rebuttal, because I don’t see what the other reviewer sees. Don’t know what floor you are on, but our walls are concrete(so are the floors), so we never heard anything. I wouldn’t say construction is «shoddy». Appliances are standard(every unit I’ve seen has GE appliances), but I do wish we’d have been given he choice to upgrade when we moved in. The location cannot be beat. I wish our HOA dues were lower, but I get it. The HOA is run efficiently by intelligent tenants. Finally, I have found that the staff is very pleasant when you are nice to them.

Évaluation du lieu : 3 Washington, DC
Pros: — Great location — Reasonably nice, spacious units — Kind, helpful front desk staff Cons: — Shoddy building construction. The units themselves seem pretty good, but the building is another story. This is most apparent in the nearly-constant construction projects that are needed to fix major problems with the building. There are also constant problems with the boilers and various other aspects of the building. — Abysmal sound-proofing. This is part of above-mentioned shoddy construction, but it’s so bad that it deserves its own bullet. You will hear everything going on in the hallways(the front doors are basically tissue paper), neighboring units, and outside. — Management office varies between pleasantly unhelpful and unpleasantly rude depending on stress-levels. — Bad-apple neighbors. There are plenty of nice, friendly people here, but there are also quite a few inexplicably unpleasant residents offering a rich mixture of passive and active aggression.
