Great doctor. Unlike a few doctors, very curious to investigate what might be wrong. Extremely patient and not interested in rushing you out until he is satisfied that he has investigated sufficiently. The only downside in not rushing is the backlog of patients starts to mount, and the wait can be considerable, even with an appointment. Might be worth calling ahead and seeing if they are running late. Also, don’t schedule something too tight at the back end of the appointment. Worth the wait though. At the Chevy Chase location, they have a good physiotherapy practice too.

Unfortunately finding a good doctor in DC is a rare event. I was and continue to be amazed with Dr. Worthing. He actually spent time with me, learning my history, asking questions about the problem. Giving me time to answer the questions. Actually looking at and diagnosing(yes, I’ve had doctors who could barely be bothered). Even after looking at my knee where I had the issue, he also inspected my other jointed to make sure that it was isolated. Mostly he is very approachable. In all my years of visiting him, he has never rushed me out of his office or through an appointment. All my appointments started within 5 – 10 minutes of the time I scheduled for the appointment. Even their admin staff and attendants were friendly(I know it sounds too good to be true). One thing to note, the practice seems to participate in a number of medical trials. So you might get asked if you are interested. I took this to mean that they where keeping abreast of new drugs and technology that was available to patients. But if you prefer treatments with a longer track record, easy enough to ask as well. Be aware when you book your appointment his practice has offices in DC and Maryland so make sure to specify where you would like the appointment because he alternates between the offices.
