Bless 7 to 9 Market

Not the largest corner store in the neighborhood (Petworth) but probably one of the better ones. The folks that run it are very pleasant and always say hello.
They have the usual assortment of essentials… bread, eggs, milk, cleaning stuff, etc.
The beer selection (my favorite part of any shopping experience) is shockingly decent. Up until 3 months ago, it was the same story as everywhere else in the neighborhood (Bud, Bud Light, Miller, assorted malt liquors). Now they have 12 packs of some things (HighLife, Yuengling, domestic stuff) but the real attraction is the six pack collection… the selection isn’t consistent but usually you can find at least a few of the following: Bass, Grolsch (includes the lager, amber, and ‘lite lager’), Corona, Heineken, Beck’s, Red Stripe, Sierra Nevada (pale ale), etc.
I noticed the last time I was in that they also have coffee brewed on site for sale… I can’t vouch for the quality of said coffee but it smelled dandy to me.
