I asked Vickie to make me custom terrariums with some extra vases I had. She did a fantastic job, charged a really reasonable price, and picked up and dropped off the vases. She was also super responsive and communicated with me the whole time she was working on them. You can really tell she cares about the work she does and her customers. Would definitely recommend working with Vickie.

I had a great experience last week. I’m in NYC, but I needed three bouquets delivered to business contacts in Washington, DC on Saturday and was having trouble finding a florist that would deliver over the weekend with such short notice. Vicki was extremely accommodating and made it happen. She also sent me a text to let me know when everything was delivered. I’ll definitely think of them first if I ever need to send flowers in DC again!

I am extremely impressed with the quality of the customer service at Bouquets & More. I live in Portland, OR and was trying to arrange a terrarium to be delivered to my friend in DC. I called to discuss options, and the person (whose name I didn’t catch) couldn’t have been more friendly, helpful, or responsive. Not only did she send me text message pictures of the item, I also received follow up texts letting me know when the item was delivered. The arrangement was great as well. I highly recommend that any DC local make this their go-​to florist!

I ordered one of the «Bouquets to Go» for a friends’ birthday — and the arrangement was absolutely beautiful! Plus, you can’t beat the price and the prompt delivery. Vickie was also wonderfully friendly, responsive and easy to work with. I will definitely order from Bouquets & More again!

If I could give this flower shop TEN stars, I would. When I called this evening to make an order, I was not sure what type of flowers I wanted to order for the lovely lady I was sending them to. I wanted something special.
A lady named Vicky answered the phone at this flower shop. She was amazing. She walked me through an array of flowers that the shop could offer. She took time to explain the different flowers and fragrances to me before my order. She was incredibly helpful and reassuring that the flowers she put together would be amazing. The service at this flower shop is phenomenal. I will definitely do business with them again.

Excellent customer service, well-​priced bouquets, an owner who clearly is in it because she loves it. Gave her a budget for a bouquet, she said I didn’t need to spend that much for what I wanted — and she came in almost 50% under budget with a gorgeous bouquet.

I NEVER write reviews but my experience today was WAY TOO GOOD to not write one.
It was my aunt’s birthday today and I wanted to send her flowers. I searched all over to find a florist who can deliver today at an affordable cost (I was on a tight budget). Bouquets and More was able to work with my price range and create a beautiful bouquet in a very short amount of time. We communicated via text which made the process super easy.
Bouquets and More is definitely a florist you should use for your next floral purchase!

Came here for the first time yesterday, acted like the standard dumb male when it comes to this type of thing. The employee dutifully put together a bouquet that fit my parameters (white and/​or peach roses thrown in with other stuff within a certain price range).
I deemed it a success when my wife immediately smiled when seeing them and declared, «They’re beautiful!» Thanks Bouquets and More! I plan to make repeat visits when needed. The flowers have opened up beautifully and look fantastic a day later.

I turned to Bouquets and More after a failed order at another nearby florist. It was painless and my expectations were exceeded. I forgot to put a message in, and they emailed me immediately. The woman happily arranged to deliver that same evening. When it turned out my sister was not home to receive the flowers, the woman at Bouquets and More made arrangements to deliver them at her fiancé’s place of work the next day! I was so pleased that it worked out with minimal logistics on my part, and the flowers turned out beautifully (I got the «Brett” — will attach photo if I can).

My husband and I just adore this place, and it is our go-​to place for bouquets. These are not normal, run of the mill flower arrangements — my favorites are heavy with nostalgia and a bit of darkness. The terrariums are little worlds frozen in time. I’ll be heading back in to get a wreath for fall soon.

Vickie at Bouquets and More puts together the most original and creative arrangements. I love their unique assortment of dry flowers and terrariums. Vickie is also helpful talking through the different kind of flowers and styles to best suit your office or home. Highly recommend.

Man, I love this place. We recently renovated our office (a design firm), and wanted to order new plants for the office. Our creative director actually *interviewed* florists, and ended up hiring Vickie and Bouquets and More to create small arrangements for everyone’s desks. It inspired me to add another succulent to my collection, so asked our office manager who we had used for the office. I have since added two more large arrangements to my collection, because a) the arrangements are lovely and b) Vickie’s super easy to work with. I work in a service role and appreciate the transparency that Vickie provides me as a client — always upfront about what she can do, how long it will take, price, etc. I definitely recommend them!

In preparation for a baby shower I was hosting, I reached out to Bouquets and More and placed an order a week in advance for two small floral arrangements to be placed at the table at a local restaurant as part of the shower decorations. Vicki confirmed delivery of the flowers via email the Friday preceding the Monday shower with the following email message:
Hi Deanna,
I will be providing two small white orchid lily arrangements submerged in water for $ 40 each for a total of $ 80 plus tax. I will need payment today. Please call me at 202 300 1348 so that I can process your credit card and send you an email receipt.
Subsequently, I provided payment to Vicki that Friday. Monday morning is the baby shower and Vicki arrives with one flower arrangement indicating she forget it was suppose to be two… So I am totally caught off guard with no other options and the shower starts in 30 minutes. In my opinion, this behavior is totally inappropriate and I do not believe that she forgot there was suppose to be 2 arrangements rather than one. We had an extensive phone conversation regarding the arrangements as well as the confirmatory email referenced above which was sent to me the preceding Friday. There were only 2 days between the confirmatory email message and the shower date??? What happened?
This organization provides poor customer service, is unreliable, and I would not depend on them for an important event. I am still at a loss of words that she showed up with one floral arrangement. Fool me once shame on you…
Not to be tried again!

When planning my wedding, my husband and I did our best to choose local businesses, and also focused on newer ones that we wanted to support. Bouquets and More had just opened a few months before my wedding and they seemed like a great choice. Their pricing undercut everyone else I spoke with pretty significantly and Vickie seemed very sweet when we met. I gave them pictures of exactly the bouquets I wanted as well as a picture of the bridesmaids dresses and thought that we were on the same page (all white flowers for all bouquets, corsages, and boutonnieres).
Unfortunately, I was very disappointed with what I received. I was told that I could come in about 48 hours ahead of time to view the bouquets, so when it got closer to the big day, I asked to come in on the Friday morning before my wedding (I got married on a Sunday, so this was just over 48 hours). I was told that was too soon and they asked if I could come in later in the day. I explained that I had my REHEARSAL and rehearsal dinner Friday afternoon/​evening and couldn’t come in until Saturday morning.
Then, on top of that, I was sent an email (not called) about 2 hours before my rehearsal and told that an alteration was being made to my bouquets and asked ME to call THEM. Unfortunately, as brides will know, I was not sitting at my computer checking emails 2 hours before my wedding rehearsal and did not see this until too late. I went in the next day to find horrific yellow something in the bridesmaids bouquets. Yellow was not one of my wedding colors.
We managed to salvage them with a few different filler flowers they had in the store. I was disappointed, to say the least, but I figured every bride has something that goes wrong and at least I only had them do the bouquets (I did my own flowers for the rest of the wedding). However, what really upset me afterward was the email I received from them, which I read the day after my wedding (btw, I forgot to mention that the flowers were just left on the porch of the venue — no one knocked or anything when they dropped them off).
I’m copying the part of the email in this review that, in my opinion, is absolutely not how you treat a client. Especially one that ASKED TO COMPLY with YOUR rules:
«Usually, brides stop in 48 – 72 hours before their wedding date to view one piece each of the completed bridal arrangement/​bouquet/​corsage/​boutonnière set; this is non negotiable and wisest to ensure that everything is picture perfect, and the florist has enough time to replace or touch up any details. Since you have come for your viewing rather late, and were not able to respond to my email and call request about flower availability/​payment, and as a courtesy we have implemented your requests for changes to the bridesmaids bouquets, all details and bouquets, corsages et cetera are final, and may be delivered up to one hour later than previously agreed upon.»
Obviously, not a great end to that professional relationship and I will never recommend or return to that store again.

I haven’t posted a Unilocal review in quite some time but I had to come out of retirement to write this one.
A friend of mine was having a really difficult day for a number of very important and legitimate reasons. I decided sometime after noon that I wanted to get her a flower arrangement ASAP.
I did a quick online /​yelp search for nearby florists, and Bouquets & More had solid reviews. I called them up and placed an order.
Not only were they super nice on the phone and easy to «deal» with, they were able to deliver same day and the women I was working with called 2 hours later to report that she herself (!) was out with the delivery and then… called back after the actual delivery to confirm that my recipient had got them. Who does that? Simply lovely.
My girlfriend — who was on the receiving end of said flowers — said the arrangement was stunning and thoughtfully done.
There are florists all over DC. But this one impressed me with the excellent, personalized service, the constant communication, the beautiful (and relatively affordable!) arrangement, and the quick delivery. Really just an exemplary experience from start to finish.

Wonderful little place! Owner helped me make a sweet little dried bouquet that I love. I imagine some things are expensive but what I got was very reasonable. Really great customer service; helpful, not pushy.

After reading other reviews decided to try this shop for my Valentine’s Day flowers. This had to have been one of the best displays I have ever seen. Flowers were gorgeous and lasted for quite some time. Will definitely be using her services again!

Decided to call here due to all Unilocal five star reviews. As previously mentioned, Vickie really helped out and recommended a great bouquet for my girlfriends birthday. It looked top notch quality, as from a florist in a five star hotel. Def recommend and will refer and use again.

Loved this flower store. Service was excellent and super fast. Flowers were fresh and have lasted days. Prices were completely affordable — in fact she asked my budget and put together a very full and beautiful bouquet to suit in under 10 minutes. Highly highly recommend.
