C and C Parking

Wow! I just got back from a harried visit downtown, and I just had to tell you all about the wonderful parking experience I had. Even though I’ve lived in the area for nearly 20 years, I dread driving in the city. I usually get a $ 100 parking ticket because I’ve misunderstood the rules in effect at any particular time. I often end up paying $ 30 for dinner — $ 35 for parking. Today I met friends at Mackey’s at 19^th and L., figuring it was going to be an expensive evening. After nearly running over several bikers, I pulled into the gorgeous garage at 1825 K. The two guys working there were so sweet and charming, despite my frenetic appearance. They let me park the car myself and, as long as I got back before 8:45 pm, it only cost me $ 5. Honestly, the parking was safe, convenient and cheap. Had to pass it on.
