I can’t say enough good things about Kavoos and his team. He was very hands on from the beginning. He provided me a number of estimates as I wasn’t sure if I wanted hardwood throughout or carpet upstairs. He also took care to discuss the smallest details with me and ensure I understood the various options and there were no hidden costs. He was able to work within my budget and find a wood and finish that was on sale for me. He started the work on time, and had a crew working on various things at the same time to ensure the project would be completed as fast as possible. He went above and beyond my expectations and even had his team ensure my subfloor was properly installed so that we would have no squeaks once the woodfloor was down. This required extra work, but he made sure that it was completed. He even came out to monitor the job. I am very happy with the results, and would highly recommend this company to anyone.

I love my carpet. Went to the office and talked with the owner. I paid up front which was a little different but I did anyway. The carpet that was done wasn’t that bad but the colors didn’t match anything I had in the house. The guys were on time for the job. They were professional and were very quick about getting it complete! I love my new carpet and would recommend this company to ANY of my friends and family. I am very satisfied. Thank you!

these guys installed a stair runner for me and i love it! mr. rad, the owner, was super helpful both in choosing a runner that would look good with my existing carpets and with scheduling the installation so that i didn’t have to take off of work. the installers were polite, efficient and quick. the new runner is so wonderful and has some kind of padding under it so that it doesn’t slip. .. i now just want to go up and down the stairs in my bare feet all the time! mr. rad even offered to have the leftover remnant bound for free so that i can use it in my upstairs hallway. definitely recommend capital carpet!

Came out to my house very quickly, although they didn’t have what they needed for my carpet repair on their first visit, despite my having included it in my initial message. Still, the final result was lovely, and reasonably priced.

We received excellent service from Capital Carpet. Our original carpet people were not responding to us, and we contacted Capital Carpet with only one week until we had originally planned to have the carpet installed (before we moved into our new home). We went to them on a Saturday and they had our carpet installed by Friday and did a first rate job! Amazing service and great prices!

I called them. They never called back. I called again talked to owner. He never followed up. I called again and they came to measure, but forgot the samples, told me he would drop them off the next day. Never heard from them again! ???

Solid work. My carpet and hardwood floor was laid to expectation, timely and professionally. When combined with the cost, I couldn’t expect a better deal. Highly recommended for a good job at a good price.

Great quality, customer service, and price! I had 4 rooms carpeted in my house and custom role runner installed over the stairs. I couldn’t be happier with the install. My house looks classy and is now comfy also! It was a pleasure working with Capital Carpets.

We had a good experience with Kavoos and his installer, Felix. Our carpet was water damaged and we had pulled it up ourselves to survey the damage and give access to the under-​carpet area to the disaster mitigation specialists, so there was some damage to the carpet where we cut it. Rather than replace everything, we wanted only to replace the padding and have the same carpet reinstalled.
We sent photos and a video of the area to Kavoos and he gave us a very fair estimated price and agreed to do the job quickly and thoroughly, even though it was a smaller than usual job. His installer was very prompt, friendly, and was able to repair the damage to the carpet really well. He even put the baseboards back on that had been removed for water damage treatment. We would recommend Capital Carpet for carpet repair and replacement.

As a member of the Condo Board for a 15 unit building in NW, I couldn’t be happier with the job Kavoos and Capital Carpet did for us. We sought to have all common areas of the building re-​carpeted and had obtained several other bids before deciding to go with Capital Carpet. CC’s estimate was highly competitive, their selection fabulous, and their communication with us stellar. They did fabulous work and I would highly recommend them!

I chose to contact Capital Carpets because of all the positive reviews. Capital Carpets came to my home, but never followed up with a written quote. I sent an email and the owner said he’d provided me a quote within three days. It’s been seven days and I’ve been waiting, and waiting, and waiting. I guess the 1,500 sq/​ft project was too small for them. I kinda got that impression. Oh well. I hope others have better luck.

I had a really great experience with them. Here’s the situation I was facing: it was New Year’s Eve 2015. My tenant was moving out and a new tenant was moving in the next day to start her lease.
I had a scheduled walk-​thru with my tenant for the move-​out that day, and at 10am, we realized the bedroom carpet of my rental was in bad shape. I had to scramble to fix it and replacing the entire carpet was the only option.
I’ve never had to replace carpet before as almost all my places have tile and/​or hardwood flooring throughout them. I called the nation’s chains you see on TV, and no one could do a same-​day estimate. I called Capital Carpet LLC, and they were very helpful. They didn’t have to come out to provide me with an estimate; they simply asked for my measurements and gave me a quote. (This was completely different experience from the national chains; in order to even know whether I could get an appointment for an in-​house consultation, I had to give them tons of personal information. I’m now being blasted with emails and telemarketing phone calls.)
Capital Carpet had a special running for three rooms, up to 360 square feet of nylon plush carpet that included the padding and labor for a total of $ 599 plus tax. My rental bedroom and walk-​in closet had Berber carpet and that’s what I wanted as a replacement. They were willing to give me the Berber (which is usually more) for the same price as the plush – they also took out and hauled away the old carpet for free (which is usually $ 100 fee).
I should also point out that I stopped off at another local company to get a second quote between the time I called and when I got to the store. For Berber comps, the price I was quoted at the other store was upwards of $ 795.
Capital Carpet had two Berber carpets in stock, and the guys literally came back to my unit with me to do the job. I called at 10am, went into the store at noon and had new carpet in place by 2:30pm – on New Year’s Eve. I think that calls for a good Unilocal review.

We recently bought an old house that needed a major hardwood floor repair on the upper level as well as the stairway. The previous owners had restored the ground level floor as part of a kitchen/​living area renovation, but decided not to touch the second floor and stairs. Kavoos was kind enough to meet us on a Saturday at our convenience to measure the area and provide us a fairly competitive estimate for the job. We agreed to the price and terms. His team showed up the following Monday and completed the work in 2 days!
We were in complete awe when we saw the finished product. Not only did it brighten up the rooms and hallway, but the color of the upper level hardwoods now matches the ones on the ground level. How about that! The best part is that it’s now under warranty, meaning we can reach out to Capital Carpet any time in the future if there are any issues. Thank you, Kavoos and crew! You guys are amazing!

My wife a I had a good experience with these guys. We didn’t feel like they tried to push a specific type of carpet on us and there was no haggling involved. They did not charge us for the padding or for the labor of installing the carpet, so we feel we got a good deal. The only issue was that the corner of the carpet was not stapled to the ground well. The installer also left a remainder of the carpet on our driveway. But the owner was quick to have one of his guys come out and staple the corner down.

I find this company in Unilocal and base on 5 star decide to work with them but the result was a huge disappointment !!! The quality and installation was horrible, when I try to contact them again to maybe change or fix the carpet It was impossible the lady answer in a very aggressive way !!!
So thinks 10 times before choose this company

Kavoos works very hard to satisfy even a demanding customer (like me!) and suggested a great alternative to carpet for my basement (LVT) which was expertly installed on a timely basis. I have used this company three times over 20 years and continue to return to them for price, service, and ease of process. They really do try hard to please the customer and after many contracts with them, I can say I would turn to them again for any flooring need.

Not sure how the ratings are all stellar, but that’s what prompted me to use this company in the first place.
The end result was an expensive disappointment, so don’t be fooled by the ratings.
The quality of carpet and installation left a lot to be desired.
Be sure to ask for more than one option to choose from. I wanted plush but got a much lower grade carpet. I think it’s just what they have in stock.
The photos of commercial jobs look great. I cannot imagine the same quality I got is what they offer to any of these establishments.

This review is long overdue. Back in January the trade show company I work for was in desperate & immediate need for carpet padding for a key customer’s booth at a show that was moving in THAT DAY. Good lord. This company hooked me up! Within two hours they were able to help me find the correct product, sizing (we had to trim down but not much) and arranged for same day delivery to the DC Convention Center. I called from California so I was already on the cusp of not making their delivery for that day (they use an outside delivery company). I was so impressed with the service I received. The product arrived as described, on time, and at the correct loading dock. Great communication between the company, their delivery service, me, and our on-​site show management staff who were anxiously awaiting the delivery.
Capital Carpet saved the day! (and made me look awesome to my bosses). :)

Gave me a fair estimate on Friday, came in to rip our old carpet and install new one on Saturday. I couldn’t have been more satisfied, I highly recommend.
