Castle is Your Home

I contacted Castle Is Your Home via their website and they quoted me a price that I agreed with. The price was agreeable to what the size of my house is. They outlined what they were going to do and how it was going to work.
The first time they cleaned my home the carpets were okay, and they didn’t clean the bedrooms. The hardwood floors looked amazing, and they washed the dishes in the sink as well. However, they had said that they were going to bring two people to clean the house but only one showed up. This made the job significantly longer, and it made me late for an appointment I had later. They also broke a table leg on my kitchen, and didn’t even apologize.
I figured that was a bad experience and I went ahead and gave them a second chance. This time I gave them access to my house so they could clean it during the day and be done by the time I went home. They only sent one person once again, and when I came home, the one guy was working on it still. I believe he significantly cut corners as the cleaning job was significantly sub par. The stairs had not been vacuumed at all and many of the other little things just hadn’t been taken care of.
I outlined this in an email to the ownership of my concerns and terminated my relationship with them at this point.

Good price for what you get. I got the maximum clean for $ 200 to clean my 3 bedroom 3 ½ bath. Everything looked nice and everything was clean for the most part.
The only problem was that it seemed to be rushed. It was clean, but not the deep clean I was looking for. I would have paid more for a very very thorough deep clean.
I would recommend this to friends. It is a good value and nice to have every once and a while.

The short story: Not good. Not good at all.
The long story: Chose these guys because they’re green, mid-​priced, and bring their own equipment. I was told that I’d have a team of two people arriving at 7:30. What I got was one dude who showed up at 8:15. After the cleaning, I can honestly say my place feels *dirtier*. It smells like garbage, there’s dirt on the carpet, and I have no idea what the hell he did for the three hours he claimed he stayed. Disgusting. Look elsewhere, Unilocalers!

I had Castle is You Home clean my new home before moving in. Overall, they did a great job. Prior to cleaning, the home was a mess and there was dust everywhere. The guy was there for over 4 hours cleaning every inch of my place and it looked great when done. I didn’t have any trouble setting up an appointment. The only thing he missed were a few cobwebs on the ceiling and corners of some of the rooms. I asked him to focus on them because there were a lot, but completely understandable that some would be missed.

I had my studio cleaned by them yesterday. I was very pleased with the result of his work. My apt came out cleaner than when i moved in. I would recommend for any home cleaning.

God, I hate to do this. I had repeated scheduling issues with the company so they don’t come anymore. They are so nice though and did a great job the first time they came.
