The meat is good, but the wrap as a whole has little else to recommend it. A great sandwich has a multitude of flavors and textures. Pivotally, the protein in the middle has to be good because its flavor dominates the sandwich as a whole. This truck has good tasting proteins. That’s the hardest part of a sandwich to perfect, and they have it! The rest of the wrap, though, isn’t up to the protein’s quality. The heat from the meat causes the greens to wilt, and bland out of season tomato will always be bland. The wrap bread has a good texture, stretchy and chewy, but has little flavor. A wrap here is really just the taste of the meat, and a way to carry it. That’s not enough. There’s definite room for easy improvement.

After three visits, the Moroccan lemon chicken is fantastic(even for the bread alone!) every time, though it’s definitely not shawarma, which is not a bad thing in my book. And I devoured the cinnamon baklava, which they heat up for you. I want to try the beef(same basic marinade as the chicken but more saffron, I guess), but last time it had been replaced with salmon. Next time!

Great sandwich made fresh to order. The amount of meat in the dish is good. We especially loved the lemon chicken, and went back for seconds. If you stop by when he’s not very busy, you’ll get an interesting conversation too! I guess the cuscus is great too, cause it was all gone by the time we got there.

Delicious! Had the lamb shank with rice. Could have used a veggie side with it, but the flavor was good. Will definitely be back.

Adilmos never disappoints, my favorite combos are lemon chicken and kofte. The food is very tasty and flavorful. The line can be long sometimes but they move pretty fast. Excellent taste and quality. Thank you Adilmo’s :)))

The food here is the best middle eastern(technically north african) food you can get from a truck in DC. I know because i’ve tried them all, and most of them make«salads» that are more like rubber than vegetable. These guys make fabulous chicken and meat, and their lentil soup is excellent. They probably are not the most organized bunch in town, but the quality of the food and their authenticity more than makes up for that! Super recommended, esp. as an alternative to almost every other Mediterranean food truck.

It’s a hit or miss with this food truck. The two guys who run this don’t have a «flow» going. As a result there is a problem with wait times(critical to a food truck experience), and problems with hygiene and food handling. The cook is at once grilling meat and vegetables, fixing the sauce, deep frying french fries, and pulling out drinks from the cooler. There is a real issue of handling food after handling numerous other surfaces. Then there’s problems with the actual menu. For a roasted veggie wrap, you provide more than one kind of vegetable. I only got«peppers». No zuchini, no eggplant, no nothing. The sauce was the exact same sauce used over the chicken. No salt/no pepper. The fries were dry and I had to request ketchup extra. The person who is handling cash is clueless. He chats with about three different people after taking your money instead of finishing transactions. Menu signs are improperly labeled with spelling mistakes, so it’s obvious these guys need some pros to come in and help them out. They’re just winging it, and you can tell. Give them a pass and try some of the awesome other food trucks by 12th and D Streets SW or at l’Enfant Plaza sometime!

I had the grilled veggie wrap with fries, which was very yummy. Will definitely get again! I also got a sample of their lentil soup which was also fresh and tasty. This is definitely above average food truck fare.

***This review is a few weeks old*** I was on my way over to the food trucks at L’enfant Plaza when I slowed down to take a look at the menu. A nice man actually told me I should try them out – he had gotten a meal from them the day prior. I decided to give it a whirl and try them out. Anytime a truck says«healthy» I’m more likely to stop by since it makes me feel less guilty for buying lunch. I want to give these guys more stars, but they just aren’t there yet. Several orders were messed up and some people were pretty upset. I waited for a long time and I had to deduct a star for the wait time. The food: Okay. I love the idea of being able to try a few different sandwiches on flat bread, but I just don’t get why they put sauce on top. It made it difficult to eat when I got back to the office. I enjoyed the salmon more than the chicken. I’ll likely try the truck again, but I might wait until they have a little more experience.

Had a solid kefta sandwich the other day. The spices were lovely, and everything was fresh and well prepared. It took a while to cook, but it was their second day in business. Would love to see more Moroccan options like makota sandwiches, or when it gets colder, harira.
