When I used to work in Georgetown, Julie was my go to nail tech! After a bad experience at the place next door where they looked at me as if they had seen a ghost and were not willing to help, I stumbled upon City Nails and went there for years. Julie is so sweet and really takes her time to create a clean flawless look. They do a really good job of keeping new trendy colors and the massages that are given during a regular mani & pedi are so amazing and much more than I’ve ever received at any other nail salon. Julie has also done my waxing before which I was a little weary, but she was so professional and very careful – another well done service! I really recommend this place and now that I live in the area I’ll definitely be going back!

After stumbling into City Nails several years ago during French Market weekend, I will never go anywhere else. On top of being the nicest people you will ever meet, Lynn and Julie have done a top notch job on both the manicures and pedicures I have received. Lynn is my usual nail tech and I call her my nail doctor. In addition, the business is clean and they always have the latest colors. I am glad I found them and would definitely recommend them for their fun, friendly personalities, clean salon and quality service.

I concur. Lynn is my nail tech and she is wonderful. I get a manicure and pedicure once a month and it is always a treat for the month. Their small shop behind the barber shop is welcoming, clean, and always friendly. Try it! You will be happy you did. Sandy

Run by two wonderful ladies Julie and Lynn who go the extra mile to extend warm and professional services. I had just moved to D.C. last year and walked in without an appointment and Julie was very accommodating and worked on my nails brilliantly. They are also quite chatty and so time really flies by when I’m there. It seems they have been around for the last 14 years and intend to keep going! I am really glad I found City Nails and have never used anyone else since. Thanks ladies!

Honestly, Lynn at city nails is the sweetest most adorable wonderful nail tech you will ever meet. It’s only an added bonus that she’s also brilliant at her job. Beautiful slik wraps that look just like your nails. Everything is clean and all the polishes are up to date. It can be confusing to find because it’s hidden behind a barber shop, but just follow the signs and you’ll be fine. Great place to go if you are looking for a place to truly take care of your nails.
