My daughter did her showing here and I am so proud of her.
Her medium of choice at the moment is watercolor and she’s been very interested in surrealism. In many of her pieces she has portraits of various people, including herself. She uses animal eyes and patterns to express whatever emotion the piece entails. She’s heavily inspired by Salvador Dali and his uses of the dream in art.
Cocoran has made it possible for young talents as my daughter, To see what doors can be opened for them. Giving them the tools of creating a show that would usually not be opportune to them.
