The guy that runs the place, in addition to whoever he has on staff, is always very friendly and more than willing to discuss his work, pieces that he can get for you, or anything about the area and especially the neighborhood. There is a constant rotation of inventory, especially the antiques. Keep in mind that this place also serves as kind of a gallery for the owner’s work so there will be a lot of his stuff there. They are also willing to make deals with you if you are willing to take more than one piece with you, especially for some of the larger pieces. Don’t be afraid to ask!

Apparently, today CoreHaus started to sell vintage and new/small designer clothing lines. The prices are very reasonable and the selection seems great, although small. They are also selling mid-century wares, however I’m hoping that the clothing choices expand with time. Also, they had jewelry, bags and accessories(scarves, ext) which were all interesting. Definitely a great option for gift shopping. Also, I want to add an quick edit — the furnishings seem to be recycled/made from re-purposed materials which is really cool too. For example, a table made from an old computer(hardware), and art made from old skate boards. It’s very unique, neat stuff.

Interesting place — most of it sort of early American rustic décor. A few midcentury items(Bentley’s Vintage across the street recommended I come here.) The few midcentury pieces were either sold(w/o a sign) or rickety. Prices aren’t terrible — just on the cusp of reasonable. I just wish the place had a bigger selection or a more curated one. Also, when I came in the owner was chatting with a customer and neither would move out of my way to get around the store.
