I went today. It was nice, but I thought it was quieter than the libraries I could go to for free. Aside from an «excuse me» no one spoke. Granted it is a small site, so too much noise would have been problematic, but no noise is just odd. The fridge was stocked, bathroom was clean. No one needed to show me around since it’s one small room. I was considering using it for nights and weekends, but looking at the hours, it didn’t make sense. I do think it is a good alternative to the pricey WeWork, but it’s really not a good comparison since you can’t leave anything there even if you pay for the whole membership. They also don’t have mail delivery. The location is perfect if you take the Metro. I am on the fence about buying now, since the close at 11. If I got off at 6 then it would be a great deal.

Review of brunch after-party on 6⁄21: I saw a tweet of this event on Greg’s List DC. I decided to stop by on my way to Crystal City. This is a great place to telework if you live in DC, or if you just need a place to charge your laptop or smartphone. This event was from 2 – 4, I arrived around 3:15. They offered wine, cold-brewed coffee, cake, and there was a mini-fridge full of Coca-Cola, juice, bottled water, and San Pellegrino. When I see wine or any other alcoholic beverage, I usually never resist, but it was 98 degrees outside and I reluctantly passed. I have a coworker friend who lives in the area, and he might frequent this location. There are other cove locations in DC, Rosslyn, and Old Town Alexandia, but none in Maryland. Starr said they were looking for new locations in Maryland, please consider Silver Spring and Rockville for your next location! Thank you Starr C for showing me around the space, good luck in your new gig!

So, I’m absolutely in LOVE with Cove! First off, the Capitol Hill location is stellar. Being just a block from the Eastern Market Metro. Second, the space is very laid back and cool for really gettin’ down to business. Third, not only is the price super affordable, but unlike other co-working spots, you only pay for what YOUNEED! You don’t have to pay an expensive fee for time you won’t use. Lastly, I didn’t have to make an appointment for a tour during business hours(when im never available because im at work)! I was able to drop in after work at my convenience and 10 minutes later, I was set up and working. I’m lovin’ Cove. This is definitely a place to come check out! I’m pretty sure that I can make a solid bet that Cove is gonna give some of the other coworking spots a run for their money!!!
