If you need a snack before or after the movie, then it is OK. Otherwise, I will walk away from this one. One time deal only. It is a little overprice because of the location. Otherwise, nothing really special.

A handy little place if one wants a light meal before going to the theater or the arena. I’ve had bigger crepes for the money, but given the expected downtown premium, I was satisfied with the chocolate and banana crêpe I got. They have a decent array of sweet and savory options; though nothing special for the gluten-free or vegan customers. All in all, ordinary.

Tasty crepes! I really only eat here when I’m going to the Verizon Center and not feeling the stadium food thing. It’s cheaper, faster, and better than most of the options in the arena. It’s good, but not great. Wouldn’t ever go out of my way to come here, but glad it’s there when I need it.

This place was amazing the staff was so nice and the crepes tasted sooooo good. It’s a must if you go to D.C. There are no seats and the neighborhood is a lil shady but not to bad if the sun is still up.

This is a little food station located in front of a mall in China Town. I ordered Nutella with strawberries + banana. The crêpe costs for almost ten bucks. The crêpe is soft not the crispy type of crêpe wrapped around nutella + strawberries + banana. To me, the crêpe is good but not outstanding and I think it’s overpriced. I have tried many crêpe in the past, the flavor that i ordered is very common so it is hard to mess this up. I would probably not gonna come back bc of its price and it is nothing extraordinary to me.

Best crepes in town and the nicest guy works here during the day. Very kind! We’ve been visiting this crêpe spot for a long time, and my son absolutely loves it. We travel about 30 miles just for these crepes, so you know they must be delicious! You have to stop by if you’re downtown! The location is right outside the Verizon Center and movie theatre, so it’s really convenient to hit right before a show!!!

Loved the crepes, but not the location. Let me explain… If you’re sightseeing near the Mall, it’s quite a long walk. Plus, there’s no seating anywhere. Had to walk aways to find a place to sit and enjoy the food. Other than that, my family ordered six different crepes and all were well portioned, decently priced and, of course, delicious. A good place for satisfying your crêpe craving.

Had crepes twice here. I ordered savory crepes– spinach and egg the first time and tomato, mushrooms, and egg the second time. They were both seasoned well and came with cheese.

Just bad. Overpriced, small portion, and bad attitude. Don’t let the 4 stars and $ sign fool you. $ 6.25 for a chestnut crêpe, but all I got is a slight touch to paste. The ham/cheese/pineapple was worse, with a bit of sprinkled cheese, 2 pieces of ham, and a few lump of pineapple. And the chef treated us as if he didn’t want our business! We asked if his shop was opened because all we saw was someone playing with his phone. It is as if our business disturbed his day. there are better choices around.

I’m sure I just picked a bad combo because the crêpe itself was good. But I ordered the apples and cinnamon. Only problem, which is huge, is that the apples were cold and raw, not cooked at all, so to bite into a warm crêpe with cold, hard apples… I just threw it away after three bites :(

Oh Crêpe I got the dark chocolate and strawberry. It was OK. I wasn’t WOWed. Perhaps I need to pick a different flavor next time. I like the fact that it’s made right in front of you with fresh ingredients. It’s definitely worth trying at least once.

Great place for crepes in downtown DC. Right outside the verizon center, cheaper than desserts at most local places.

I ordered a simple crêpe, just butter and sugar. The crêpe guy then yelled at me to get out of the way, though it wasn’t clear where the pickup window was. Two guys behind me ordered fancy, expensive crepes. We waited a few minutes. He yelled out their orders were done — what?! He didn’t start my SIMPLE crêpe first? It was like a slap in the face, perhaps him punishing me for ordering a cheap menu option, or the sin of standing in the order line when there’s no obvious pickup window. I love crepes and this is convenient for me, but I can’t honor such clear disrespect for the customer.

I stopped at Crepes on the Walk with a friend after attending a pretty intense yoga class nearby. It was sort of tricky to find as it’s down a short alley near the Gallery Place metro stop. We both ordered the chicken pesto crepes with cheddar cheese. YUM. We watched the guy make our crepes and there was SOMUCHCHEESE on these things! You may want to ask for light cheese if that’s not your thing. We were hungry, and our crepes hit the spot. For $ 7 I can’t really complain, though I do wish they had a couple outdoor tables with seating. We had to be content with standing and devouring our crepes while watching a group of carolers sing nearby.

I had the apple cinnamon crêpe, which was good, but it was small. Also, this is just a stand outside, and there isn’t really any place to bring the food to sit and enjoy inside when it is cold out.

I was in town for the weekend with my girls who were in the mood for a sweet treat. We traveled to Chinatown where I ordered a crêpe with fresh apples, brown sugar, and cinnamon for $ 5.50. My crêpe was very hearty and perfect for a crisp Fall day. Great ingredients and I think it was healthy too. Great location, in front of a mall and right near the metro. I did not want to be a glutton, otherwise I would have gone for another with so many options.

Having just moved to DC three days ago, I haven’t even made it to the grocery store. No need if an amazing b’fast at a fair price is available, literally, in my backyard. Made fresh in front of you and with such care, I’ll be frequenting this stand at least once a week. The California Brunch Crêpe was amazing. Large enough to save half for a mid afternoon snack! Fresh avocado, tomatoes and mushrooms. Just enough seasoning on the fried egg. Voila! A masterpiece.

Tucked between a Smoothie King and a coffee hut in the alley between Clyde’s and Verizon Center stands Crepes On the Walk. I’ve seen this place countless times while walking through Chinatown and have always been a little intrigued. After all, I love crepes and surprisingly, this little place opens quite late even on weekdays and there’s always a line of folks waiting to order. I came here with my mom after we visited the cherry blossoms. We were tired and eager to eat something. Enter Crepes On the Walk. I ordered a nutella and strawberry crêpe while my mom ordered an apricot jam crêpe. Each crêpe is hand-made right in front of you and served off their griddles. They fold the crêpe into a cup and then wrap it with aluminum foil before handing it to you. While waiting, I ordered a chai latte from the coffee hut next to Crepes On the Walk and we were able to sit in the small outdoor sitting area with our crepes. Crepes On the Walk does not have an indoor or outdoor sitting area. The crepes are a little bit on the expensive side. These are street food plentiful in France but for a place like Chinatown in downtown DC, crepes are hidden gems. My crêpe was tasty. Fresh strawberries and when is nutella ever a bad choice? The crêpe itself is a little thicker than usual French crepes but I didn’t mind too much. Paired with my latte, I had a pretty good snack. 3.5 stars.

This place is awesome and has been a staple, right outside the Verizon Center, for many years now. I get the strawberry and nutella(yum!) and the BF got a turkey, swiss, and mushroom crêpe. We got to the Wizards game late, so luckily we had just enough time to grab a crêpe. They were warm, delicious, and huge! The men who run the stand are always friendly and work so quickly! Such a great option in Chinatown!

For a serious(ly silly) movie buff like myself, being late for a movie is unacceptable. If I don’t sit through all 20 minutes of previews, how am I supposed to say to other movie fanatics, «that film looks terrible»? Thankfully, there’s one great option in Chinatown for fast(but not in the chain way) food! Grabbing a savory crêpe from here is the ultimate in convenience. If there’s no line, they’ll make you a crêpe in less than five minutes that can be completely eaten while waiting in line for tickets. While I may have chewed the aluminum foil they wrap their crepes in a few times, which is actually less painful than some of the movies I’ve seen, I have never been disappointed with their product. They do not skimp on ingredients. For example, the crepes containing cheese are almost quesadilla thick when folded but never lose their spongy crêpe flavor. At around $ 5 for their simple sweet crepes, it’s a better, or at least more fluffy, alternative to movie theater popcorn for a snack as well. Even their deluxe savory crepes are less than $ 10. If only the Chinatown theater allowed in outside food, the arrangenent would be perfect. But I can see why they don’t if this is their competition.
