Crescent Property Management

This is by far the most unprofessional company I have ever dealt with. They never do anything for repairs. Or ever return your calls. Kevin is pretty much a joke. Can’t ever get in contact with him. He will surely call or send a notice if its about money that benefits him. No one communicates within the company so all employees tell you something different. If i. could give them 0 stars I would. This is the worst company I have rented from.

I thought I would provide a more specific review as an update. I write this review as further warning for anyone considering business with Crescent Property Management. I feel that giving the company one star is a disservice to all of the one star ratings out there, because this company deserves negative stars if possible. Here are some examples of my experience with Crescent Property Management:
1. My property manager has changed so many times I often don’t even know who it is. Luckily it doesn’t matter much since none of them have been helpful. And to be clear, by helpful, I mean they don’t even return phone calls.
2. My lease has been lost. I asked for a copy of it, and they said it was lost. First, they sent me a copy of someone else’s lease. Eventually they did find it so I guess that’ll earn them one star.
3. Usually my requests for maintenance or repair are completely ignored. I called about a plumbing issue and they asked me to wait. They did not send someone to meet the plumber, but thankfully through last minute maneuvering on my part, the plumber was able to get in the unit — only to fix nothing.
4. Both radiators leak or don’t work and the electrical on one of the lights is going out. I know this means more blankets and layers in winter and buying a lamp — expecting a reasonable response on behalf of Crescent Property Management to fix anything is a commonly used joke now.
If you can avoid them, I would encourage you to do so, they are by far one of the worst rental companies in the DC area (and that is really saying a lot).
