Must try the shrimp and grits! I walked in to Decadence solely on the other Unilocal reviews and I’m happy I did. Robin is very friendly and helpful. The small plate menu, while small, has great variety… something for everyone. Small is the theme here but cozy is a more appropriate way to describe this friendly neighborhood small business. I will return with friends! Support small business and stop by Decadence. You will not be disappointed!

I fell in love with Decadence today and thinks everyone needs to check it out! Service was awesome. I had the confetti salad and shrimp corn chowder soup. Mmm mmm delicious! They were both big enough to suit one person but it sounded so good I couldn’t pass up trying them both. I also love the tea selections. I’m an avid coffee drinker but I opted for the tea which speaks volumes to their«tea game». The tea is organic loose leaf that comes served in a kettle and a nice mug that makes you feel at home. I got the vanilla oolong flavor, and the server let me smell the loose leaf before brewing it! This is one of the new business that I hope stays in the neighborhood for a looong time to come! Well done Decadence!

This is a great neighborhood cupcake shop! My girlfriend and I walked in on a cold Saturday afternoon after a long day of shopping and were greeted warmly by the owner and a hostess. My girlfriend ordered two different cupcakes, a lemon selection and a chocolate one. Both were delicious. I order a half smoke and a glass of wine and both were Grade A. As we ate we people watched as folks walked by on Georgia ave and just relaxed as decadence played some smooth jazz through their house speakers. The lay out of this place is also very warm and very inviting(think European family style pastry place). I have already recommended this spot to several of my friends and I will be back the next chance I get.

I visited this cute bakery and café and loved it, the staff were very friendly and gave me great recommendations on some desserts to go, I stayed for a glass of wine and enjoyed the ambiance and friendliness. The lemon cake I got was delicious, it was a mini cake which was cute and more inventive than a normal cupcake. I will be back soon!

The chicken and waffles were really good. I’d order again in a heartbeat. There was a great tea selection. Most importantly, the staff are attentive and welcoming. They were personable and made me feel at home. They didn’t rush us out the door or make us feel like we were taking up space. They have earned my repeat business.

Nice café with really tasty deserts. Coffee was good too. Nice addition to the neighborhood. Not sure about the wall of celebrity photos, but to each their own. Very friendly staff.

I noticed this bakery in my neighborhood and dropped in for dessert. We got some amoretto cake and a parfait, and they were very well done. The owner was personable; and furthermore, a woman who was sitting in the café was complimentary of everything on the menu. She said the shrimp and grits and chicken and waffles are both wonderful. We’re looking forward to patronizing this business.

I have patronized this new addition to Georgia Avenue, N.W., three times in the last four days, The Chicken and Waffles are fantastic. The Shrimp and Grits are good. Sandwiches and Salads are very fresh and well made. I do enjoy all the homemade desserts offered. The Owner, Robin, is extremely nice. The Café is a gem in an up and coming area that could use more sit-down, quality restaurants. D. Harper and G. Lee
