I’ve had a manicure from Isabella and a pedicure by Mimi. I have found both of them to be very friendly, gentle, and professional.
After sitting down for the manicure Isabella moved her station and equipment to ensure that I was as comfortable as I could be.
Both experiences were really relaxing.
Your first visit is discounted which was nice.
The general crowd at the salon is more mature, but I didn’t feel unwelcome for being younger.

Amazing place … Lilly is a great facial professional. Made my skin glow with perfection. Wow, her results are amazing with just facials and daily use of her recommended products

Never go here!!! Awful experience.
If I could give this place no stars I would. I came here last September, and only just opened a Unilocal account or I would have reviewed them earlier. I had just moved to DC and after extensive research I chose to get a cut and color from them. (I don’t mess around with my hair by the way I go to fekkai in NYC and David Mallet in Paris)
I won’t even remark on the boring atmosphere I’ll focus on the awful «balayage» I received. I asked for a very natural and sunkissed balayage look, as I always do, and I ended up with streaky, very unnatural looking highlights.
I was too polite to say something and in retrospect I should’ve told her to change it right then and there but I was worried that it would be botched even more (also the stylist thought she was hot shit, name dropping senators that she styles for, why would I care, that has nothing to do with your balayage skills, which were nonexistent) I honestly don’t even think that she knew what balayage was.
Ridiculously overpriced for the service, I spent $ 180 on the awful color, left practically in tears, and promptly went to urban style lab to get it fixed.

If you need spa services — facials, waxing, tinting and the like — Anna is the person to see. Her area in the back of the salon is a separate and quiet spot in which to slow down and receive these services. Anna is warm, caring and very professional. Her skill level is high and you are safe in her hands. It is a huge plus to be in the hands of someone with so much experience and when you are with her it is a relief to feel that she is really paying attention to what you need. I’ve been receiving such services in the Washington area for many years from the top salons and Anna is right at the top in terms of competence, manner and efficiency so I can confidently give her 5 stars.

This salon mostly catered to an ‘older crowd’ – lots of very nice silver fox updos. No old lady perms – great styles – lots of women arriving with chauffeurs for their gala updoes. I got the sense that everyone was happy that way, and this was a salon to head to if you want to be a mature regular who gets treated well. Final take: not really all ages despite the great location, but more specialized for the older set.
