Does the jobs you need done cheaply. Friendly and helpful female staff (the one person that was there!) All prices were clearly published and fair for the printing scanning copying service I needed.

I just had one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever had while shipping Christmas presents. The manager, Rick, made a mistake by putting «signature required» on my order and grew increasingly angry at me while he had to fix it, because the line was growing. And then when he rerang it, the price was higher, he completely lost his temper and berated me for slowing him down when I tried to understand why the price went up, which I said seemed unfair. He had no answer and would not attempt to figure it out. He never apologized, and when I said I felt I was owed one, he started yelling I’m sorry loudly and angrily. It was not an apology, it was a meltdown. Will not be setting foot in there again.

This place is horrible. Twice I’ve gone to ship things out and no when is there during their posted hours. If you say you’ll be open at 8:00 am on a Saturday, you should be open at 8:00 am. This made me so angry as I was carrying a decent amount of items to be shipped out and had to walk all the way home with nothing accomplished.
Much should get your act together!

Only one line for shipping packages. Staff seems unenthusiastic. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

Wow — the customer service here is consistently awful.
Today I was met with two bitterly moody male employees (perhaps a manager), totally unacceptable as I was going to spend $ 200 + at the location but was forced to leave. They were short and rude and said they couldn’t print labels separately for envelops going to different locations… what? C’mon now, they were just upset that I had a lot of packages to ship.
I tried to be empathetic, I know at ton of equally as rude customers must come in but this was really not okay. I will not be returning and tell coworkers to avoid as well.

While I don’t typically enjoy going to any FedEx, this FedEx is so bad that despite being conveniently near my apartment, I cannot bring myself to continue going there and will forever drag myself to the FedEx in Georgetown, which has much better customer service. I will say I have encountered one friendly and helpful employee at 14^th St, however, every experience I’ve had at this location has been pretty soul sucking. The Jamaican man who works here is so rude for no reason– on this occasion, despite the fact that they are short-​staffed and very busy, he could not possibly be bothered to pause from chatting on the phone, on what is quite obviously a personal call, and looking at entertainment blogs– SERIOUSLY. I let enough time lapse between visits and convinced myself this place wasn’t so bad but ultimately, this place is not worth the wasted time and bad mood it puts you in. Go to the M Street FedEx.

I don’t know what’s happened to this Kinkos — I just had the phone employee interrupt me midsentence to say (in a very slurred almost drunk sounding voice btw) «speak English what you’re saying makes no sense to me» — What I’d said was «Hi — can you give me the email address to send a print job?» I can appreciate how difficult that may be to comprehend (!!!).
For the last year I’ve had a few bad experiences here — this one is the last straw. Disappointing as previous management (from over a year ago) was great and so was staff. Not sure what happened here but downhill all the way. Go somewhere else.

4 stars for the manager who was very friendly and helpful when I came in and needed assistance sending documents overnight.
2 stars for his employee who wasn’t helpful on the phone… I recommend doing the online shopping quotes before popping in.

WHAT IS WRONG WITH FEDEX?
Two really bad experiences. Thinking something is amiss at FedEx and that UPS even USPS might be the better option. Certainly the safer option.
In the first instance I dropped a nice desk (to be assembled and in original packing) at the 14^th St. store in Washington, DC. Shipping it to my son. This was late afternoon on Saturday, Dec. 13^th. This was a large box 2 by 4ish feet.
The store was chaotic and the lone person working there said he was there filling in. A line to the door. Lots of frustration by customers. Lots.
I had been there an hour and needed to get to another part of the city and the counter guy said it would be a few minutes so I attached the shipping label, was told he would process later. So i left.
The desk disappeared. The store said it was not in its log. FedEx customer service said they couldn’t help talk to the store.
A box that size doesn’t just disappear. Someone stole it. Gone without a trace.
FedEx screw up number 2 last week. In Key Largo and i drop a FedEx package at the front desk of the resort. Per standard procedure, they log it in and place it in a FedEx box with daily pickup. A week later I start tracking. It is nowhere. For a full week FedEx forgot to make pickups.
I was assigned a «customer advocate» and it was maddening. They are anything but. They are patronizing and full of unhelpful and false information such as it was due to weather. Weather? Excuse me, It was sunny and 70 every single day. No, they just screwed up and couldn’t even offer «we are sorry for our mistake and we are going to get this package to the bank tomorrrow.» So another 5 days later they deliver. So…11 days after the package was originally placed in the FedEx box it has arrived at its destination. 11 days!!! And they were going to charge me extra to get it delivered overnight after the first screwup
Hard to figure this out other than corporate arrogance. And some incompetence.

Abysmal lack of service. Rude personnel. Of no help whatsoever. Go somewhere else. Waited for 5 minutes before the guy would acknowledge that I had been waiting for service. I soon realized that there is no service here.

Zero customer service. The clerk was talking on his personal cell phone the entire time and didn’t say one word to me. Only perk was I was in and out but all I had to do was drop off a package, can’t imagine what it’d be like if it was something more involved. FedEx in Chinatown is much better.

Good go to for any printing needs. Went in on a Monday morning around 9:30 a.m. — there was only one employee working. While he was very nice and helpful, service would have been much speedier if he had somebody else to help out.

If I could, I would give this FedEx location zero stars. Almost every single time I go, the person working there is either unhelpful, rude or both. I went in recently to try and ship a gift to my niece in Texas. After waiting for 15 mins, while no other customer was in the store, the clerk finally looks up at me and says ‘yes’ in an annoyed tone. I won’t go into the full back and forth, but let’s just say that what should have been a simple exchange of information about shipping rates was completely unprofessional and antagonistic. Save yourself the headache and go somewhere else if you can.

This is just a normal FedEx Office Print & Ship Center location, good at some things and bat at other things. I would advise no one go to the FedEx or Kinko’s without a USB drive if you want to have something printed. I’ve been a few times, and when I needed some papers printed on very nice slick paper AND I have a USB, it’s very easy to have it printed out by the clerks. They take care of it for you, and it’s relatively cheap.
However, if you intend to print something out or scan it yourself one of their self-​service areas, that is very confusing and I have never liked the results. I know how to use a computer, but when they’re charging you per minute for using a processor and processes with which I’m not familiar, it takes a longer time and it gets expensive. I had to print things out and scan them, and the self-​scanner is kind of crappy and doesn’t come out very professionally and I had to throw away the results. I gave up and went home and put it on the USB drive and got them to print it out and scan it with their big scanners behind the counter, and that process was easy.
I’ve never shopped for paper or anything, I would just suggest you always have a USB if you need printing services.

This place is a great one stop shop for all your office supply and printing needs. The staff have been super helpful each time I have gone in. They will print labels a sheet at a time and can do scanning and many other Kinkos services. They also have a standard mail drop. They seem to be well stocked with everything you could need in a printing supply and service is done with patience and a smile!
I will return for the wonderful customer service I experienced. Even when I had to wait a bit, the staff reached out to let me know I’d be helped shortly. I appreciate that.

Do I have to give them one star? Disappointed in the customer service this office gave me. They told me that they couldn’t ship perishable items so they sent me to another office. So I went there and I found out that this office doesn’t package. So I went home to get my packing materials. Then I called around and the customer service person told me that all FedEx offices ship perishable items but they just don’t package them. Brother! It took me 3 hours to mail a package!
The only bright spot of that store is the copy center staff is always helpful.

Seriously, this place is a complete and utter disaster. The only reason it stays in business is that people need to print and send things. I don’t know if they specifically look for the most ignorant, least compassionate, inarticulate people to hire — but somehow they manage to do so. They must pay them very badly, and treat them even worse — so maybe it’s not the employees fault — but certainly the employees here make it CLEAR they do not like any part of humanity and like participating in it even less.

ATTENTION FEDEX/​KINKOS you need to put some money into this Logan Circle location.
The store is pretty from the outside however I dread ever having to come to the FED-​EX/​Kinkos on 14^th near P street.
For mailing packagesFedEX, there is often a very long line. The circulation (layout) of this store is an abomination. For starters the delivery people come in and out of the same door customers use with their hand trucks and this chaos of people entering and leaving the store one honestly feels as if they are a third world marketplace..
There is often a messy stack of boxes behind the register which gives one the impression that their packages are sure to get lost. The staff are slow and seem unfamiliar with the duties they have at hand. There should not be a line so long that it continues to the front door. The location of the register is wrong as well, as it forces customers to line up next to the work station with forms/​stay out of the way of the delivery men and stay within the constrained space of the front door and the register. So much of the square footage is taken up selling presentation materials like useless binders and rubber bands. These could be stacked on a wall or in a different part of the store. That space is better utilized by those who are spending real money at this place (i.e. people sending packages, picking up print jobs or needing to use workstations.)
Their are not enough computer work stations. Often one has to wait for a computer and the equipment (like printers) at the workstations are never working when needed. Staff seem not to understand how they work. Workstations should not be next to the toilets that exude a horrible smell, not to mention these toilets need to be kept clean.
Staff needs better training and for this I blame management. I have wasted to much of my time standing in line waiting for the staff to weigh and prepare packages for customers. Staff need to learn how their equipment works, how to ship packages to be able to inform customers on what each category on the slips means and most importantly how to speak politely to the customers that keep them in business. There needs to be auxiliary staff to open a second register when the line is reaching the front door.
The experience here is so bad, that I would rather ask favor from friends than to use this facility.

I rarely ever need to stop by a FedEx Kinko’s. I almost always have my laptop strapped to my side and I have a scanner and printer at home. However, I found myself here one afternoon because I had to print something out quickly on the fly!
Once I found the awesome parking garage across the street, everything else became pretty straight forward. I walked into the fairly small store and head straight for the work station. There were three work stations, however only two computers set up. One was occupied, but luckily the other was free.
I sat down, stuck my credit card in the machine and started to pull up what I needed to print. I can’t remember exactly how much it cost per minute, but I remember thinking I better make this quick.
Good thing a crazy man came in a few minutes after to keep me on target. This fifty-​something, scattered, socially awkward guy comes in and immediately starts grilling everyone that had since been waiting after I had snagged the last computer.
«How long have you been here? Is she before you? I’m before him. And he is after you? She can go after you’re done. What about you? How long have you been waiting? How long are you going to take?»
I kept my head down and shot him the quick once over so he knew I wasn’t playing around. Honestly, he probably didn’t even pick up on my pseudo, tough-​guy attitude… but he left me alone. Either way, he made me feel uncomfortable, so I completed my task as quickly as possible.
Aside from the crazy man, this location was clean and fairly quiet. However, I sense that there are times when the work stations might be highly trafficked. They really need to get that third computer set up if they want to avoid restless, idle customers.
