He did a great job with the assembly but the scheduling for this company leaves something to be desired. I don’t think this was the assembler’s fault. My recommendation is that they give a window of time for scheduling so they can account for any jobs running overtime.
The assembler did a professional job, and despite the messy packaging left no trace. He was professional & went right to work, and the furniture looks great and the drawers for the dresser slide easily.
Thanks! We will use again if we buy anything complicated to put together.

This is a total lie no refund was issued to my credit card total FRAUD COMPANY!!!
No one from this company ever called me back after several calls and messages that were left with Brianna. I was promised several times a call back but never called back or credited my credit card!!! NOT TO BE TRUSTED!!!

I bought a bed, dresser, and nightstand from Sears and one look at the dresser brought me to google searching for furniture assembly companies. I ultimately chose FAE because they were the least expensive. I was able to make an appointment for the following day. Anthony was on time, incredibly sweet, and clearly an expert at putting furniture together. He completed all 3 pieces by himself in about 2 ½ hours. Everything was perfect — no leftover pieces.
Besides being a consummate professional and a great guy (definitely engage him in conversation), my 10 month old son loved him :)

Just don’t. They were very proactive about setting up the appointment, which was done easily over email, and I emailed the night before to confirm. Ultimately, though, I ended up killing 3 hours of my labor day weekend waiting for no one to show. No call, no explanation, and no one picked up at the «open» office after a few tries. Extremely frustrating and bad business practice. As another commenter said, use
or another service, don’t waste your time here.

Do NOT use this company. I had a bed, desk, coffee table, desk chair, couch, and TV stand made (all from IKEA). They sent two men who finished the project in 5 hours (very timely). But when they were done:
1. There were over 30 pieces leftover that they claimed were «extra pieces.» These were NOT extra pieces. They didn’t lock in the slats for my bed (so it was unstable) — I did it myself. They didn’t lock in the headboard for the bed (it was shaking back and forth). They didn’t lock in the desk together (it’s currently wobbly and the top is not secured to the bottom with the pieces provided by IKEA).
2. Several pieces of furniture have several scratches and dents from their not being careful.
3. When I called them to ask them to fix the furniture and account for so many «extra» pieces, they wouldn’t connect me with a manager (it’s been a week) and they are sending someone over to «inspect the furniture.» I e-​mailed them again to speak with a manager — never got an e-​mail or a phone call back from anyone at all.
Worst experience with furniture assemblers — both the execution and customer service.

I was very disappointed in this company. I submitted a request on their website and was told they would arrive at the scheduled time on the following day. That day, after rearranging my schedule and staying home from work, I get a call that they are on their way. Then I get a call 5 minutes later that actually they won’t be there for 2 hours and there was no flexibility on the time despite the fact that this was not when the job was scheduled for and the fact that their rep had called me 5 minutes earlier telling me the person was on his way at that time. I told them this time did not work for me, was not what we agreed to, and was different than the time the rep told me, and the person I spoke with was extremely rude about the inconsistent messaging. Then I emailed to try to reschedule as well as called and still have not heard back. It is completely impossible to reach anyone by phone there — it always goes straight to voicemail. They went completely MIA and stopped responding to my emails as well. Thankfully I learned about
and booked very easily through their site. I would not recommend using this business — they will give you the runaround and were extremely frustrating to deal with.

If I could give zero stars, I would.

After I called and emailed they wrote to me 33 minutes after the appointment start time and said saying they were experiencing delays. They wanted to come over five hours later.
I should have taken their negative reviews more seriously!

Amazing. Bought a FJELL bed from Ikea that was a little too advanced for me to put together, especially during the hectic period of moving to a brand new apartment. Sent FAE an email on Sunday night and received prompt service the next day. NOT TO MENTION, when our box from Ikea didn’t have some of the components, they offered to come the next morning to build the bed after we got the part. They set up the bed in no time and were amazing and friendly throughout the entire process. I will definitely use them in the future and will be recommending them to all my friends!

Thanks guys — great job, fast service, great price. You helped me complete a project I’ve been putting off for months. Very happy customer.

I emailed this morning asking if I could change a 5:30 appointment to 6. I received a very clear email confirmation in return. It’s 6:45 and no one has shown up. You can’t reach a real person via their phone number, so if you don’t get an email back, you’re out of luck. What a disappointment.

Great service — Dave was prompt, friendly, and efficient at my apartment in Arlington. It was clear that he knew what he was doing with the IKEA furniture and built it faster than I thought possible. I’m not one to normally write reviews, but this group deserves the recognition and good review.

As a mother arranging service from another state, I was thrilled by the prompt and courteous service provided! This company responded quickly to my request for same day assembly service of two Ikea products in Washington, DC. Payment was reasonable and the assembly expert, Mr. Kevin, even sent me a photo of the assembled items. Kudos to Furniture Assembly Experts for understanding and practicing excellent customer service!

Last week I gave this company 1 star for the reasons listed below. They have totally redeemed themselves! They called to apologize and arranged a time to put the furniture together for free. They showed up on time and did an excellent job!
Communication with this company is impossible. They do not respond to voicemails. I received 4 emails over 3 days telling me they could assemble my furniture on Sat at 5pm. I responded «yes» to each email. Sat at 4:05 pm they emailed me telling me I responded too late. We rescheduled for Sun. Sat evening at 7:49 pm I received an email saying my appointment was confirmed for Sun at 9:30 am. Sun morning I received another email confirming the 9:30 appointment. It’s now 10:30 on Sun and they have not shown up or called. I have rearranged my schedule twice now. Frustrating! I could have put the furniture together myself by now.

I would love to give these guys a great review, and if they can rectify this issue, I will. The issue is that I have left no fewer than 4 messages in the past 3 days and have gotten zero call back. Left one or two by email, including using their form (which responds with a «Thank you. Someone will call you back in 2 hours»), and two voicemails. Nothing.
I have a piece of furniture that they seemed perfect to help with, but that starts with a call back. Frustrating.

These guys were the best. Showed-​up on-​time, got the job done and we nice and professional. We’re planning to use them again.

2÷22÷14. Did they ever make this look easy. We were desperate after struggling through those wordless Ikea detailed directions. It was going to take up days! In about 2.5 hours, it was done on the Saturday morning that turned out so much sunnier than we had envisioned. Truly a blessing.

As we all know, massive savings can be accomplished by eliminating the overhead costs associated with brick & mortar stores by ordering on-​line and the variety is much better. The only problem with ordering on-​line is the assembly, some of the items can be very cumbersome and complicated to assemble. But Furniture Assemble Experts eliminates this factor.
They are very professional with lots of experience in this area. They assembled a 4-​piece ensemble for me in a little over an hour. No left over pieces, like I normally have, and the rates were very reasonable. Furthermore, they don’t require cash like most other companies, so you can earn points for their service when you use their credit card reader.
I was looking to remove the boxes as they took the furniture out and they advised me to leave them so they won’t scratch the hardwood floors, which I never thought about.
We will certainly use them again in the future. Good service and demand should only increase as more and more «brick/​mortar» stores go out of business.

These guys are total pros. They arrived early and got right to work. We needed to have 11 pieces in total assembled — 10 bookcases and a sideboard — and they had the whole job done in under four hours. The apartment is small and full of boxes, and they were terrific about working within the limited space and took special care around all the stuff that was sitting around waiting to go into the new furniture. They took plenty of time to make sure that all the doors were hung properly, the drawers open and close well, etc. — all the fiddly little things that make a big difference with Ikea furniture.
Making the arrangements in advance can seem a little cryptic — basically, you just e-​mail them what you have to be put together, as exactly as possible (down to Ikea item numbers if you have them), ask for a time, and they send you a one-​liner confirmation. It’s not too formal, but it works.
For the quality of the work, the price was very reasonable — and a lot less than had we gone with Ikea’s in-​house assemblers. As previous reviewers have noted, they don’t take away the boxes and other debris, but they did leave it all very organized, making it relatively simple to deal with after they left. I really can’t recommend this company enough.

Good overall service. Second time I’ve used them. Great with Ikea products too. So many little parts that can take you all afternoon or evening.
Only wish is that they would dispose of empty boxes when they finish:)
