I was just walking around and happened to Pop into the shop. Chatted a bit with the employees at the table told them what I was looking for and Gabe walked me around showed me a few lenses to think about. I think that was great customer service can’t wait to go back to get my lense thanks Gabe

Terrible experience. Three bored sales people that ignore you. All the glasses are behind closed glass and you need to constantly ask for them to unlock. Every time you take a frame they rearrange the display. They don’t really want customers. And did I say there are no prices on the frame, you need to ask. It’s like they are doing you a favor.

I needed frames that I had ordered online adjusted and after calling to check that they would do it, Georgetown Optical adjusted them for free! The staff was super nice and as I was waiting, I checked out their frames and they have a great selection. They also have two dogs in the store, Bruce and Troy, who are very cute and friendly!

I had a mixed experience at this store. On one hand, they have a great selection of frames, and they carry many more designer options than I was able to find at other stores. Its a big open space, with very good light and mirrors. I did find a frame here which I purchased and really like. On the other hand, I found some of the staff really nice and knowledgable, and some of the staff abrasive and condescending. Having worn glasses and contacts since the third grade, I am a fairly experienced and picky shopper. While one sales person clearly understood my concerns and showed me great options, another decided to lecture me about something irrelevant and dismissed my questions about getting lenses done elsewhere, without bothering to ask about my prescription. This store doesn’t take insurance, and with an intense prescription and $ 500 lenses, I think it makes sense that I would want to see what my options are for getting something covered. I hate it when people try to tell me how I should make decisions by assuming they know better than I do. Its really not my first pair of glasses. I like the fancy designer feel of this store, but could do without the snotty attitude. I’ve been back a couple times to get the fit of the frame adjusted, and again mixed experience. One person was fantastic at adjusting my frame carefully and patiently, asking me questions about how it felt, while another(actually, the same one as before) did not know how and kept going making it worse rather than going to his colleague for help or getting some feedback from me.

Awesome store. Great modern interior, cool window displays, helpful staff, and fashionable styles. Probably the best opticians in D.C.
