I always had wanted to try out this local service out. I arrived in the afternoon to have my trousers shortened. I tried on my trousers and she marked it with a pin where it should be shortened. 2 days later I am a happy customer with my new pants shortened where I wanted to be. Will be going back for more alterations and perhaps dry cleaning.

The negative reviews are a big surprise. They do a great job on our clothing – both shirts and dry cleaning. I live nearby and Maggie delivers and picks up, and puts the charges on my tab, which she does charge on a credit card after sending an itemized statement at the end of each month. I don’t think my husband has lost any buttons or had other bad suit experiences. Maggie is so nice and helpful – I recommend.

They only take cash or check, and they charge more to dry clean women’s shirts than men’s, although that’s an industry wide problem. I’d probably go elsewhere if this weren’t so close. For now it’s fine for the occasional time I need to clean a nice dress or blazer. Also I had a great experience with them fixing some eyelet that had ripped on a pair of shorts. You can’t even tell and it’s held up for a year now. However, when I brought in the same exact type of rip on an eyelet skirt, a different woman just said«too hard.» Hmm…

Always best. The service is great and the people are fabulous. I have had jeans and formal gowns altered here with really good results. I do get my clothes dry cleaned here as well as it is a neighborhood spot for me.

Grace St Cleaners has a quick turnaround time, which is great(!) when you’re pressed for time and just realized you need a freshly pressed suit. for an interview. in two days. I live in the neighborhood, so it’s also a convenient location for me. During the week, they open at 7:30AM and close at 6PM(Winter) or 7PM(Summer). My one negative experience was when I dropped off a wool sweater to be cleaned. It looked okay when I picked it up, but when I was wearing it later that day, I found long strands of blond hair all on the arm of my sweater. And, I don’t have blond hair. It was gross. I docked them 2 stars for poor quality control. Other than that, great little neighborhood dry cleaner. PS: Cash or check only.

Brought in 2 shirts + a suit. $ 15 and done in a day and a half. Good job, done for cheap!

The absolute WORST drycleaning experience I have ever had. Some of my clothes came back almost as dirty as they were when I dropped them off. The attitude from the staff is also horrible. No chance I ever go back.
