We’ve gotten catering from this place 2 times in one week. Not only is the food delicious, but the service is excellent. The chicken, the beef&lamb, and the mushrooms are to die for. The flavors have so many layers and it just smells sooo good. The Kale salad to me, is the best salad hands down. It didn’t even last for all 15 of us because it was so good. Their service is what will keep us coming back. They went above and beyond for us and even delivered extra food when we realized it wasn’t enough. Keep up the good work guys!

I order delivery from here pretty often. The price is right, the meat portions are generous and the delivery is super fast. The food is tasty and I’ve only ever had pleasant experiences with the staff. I’ve been to the physical location too and it’s clean and spacious. This is a go-to fast food spot.

The only reason to go here is for the frozen greek yogurt and rose petal preserves. And if you like copious amount of seating. I got the orzo bowl with lamb, the lamb was dry, chewy, and sometimes crunchy. If you want Greek food that is delicious and edible, go to the Greek Deli 4 doors down. It’s far superior and worth the line, because you will still wait for your food at this place when there is not even a line. Also, what greek café charges a $ 1.01 for extra tzatziki? This is Greek food gone wrong.

First time at GRK today and I thought it was pretty good! One of my coworkers goes all the time, always gets the greek salad, and I always admire the giant chunks of feta on it. So today I decided to finally try this place. I got there and studied the menu, and decided I wanted to try a gyro instead. So I got the lamb/beef gyro and I can honestly say it was very good. Would’ve liked a bit more of the tzatziki. but besides that the gyro was very tasty! The meat was delish! Next time I’ll try the greek salad!

Great place to eat. Fresh food, healthy and great service. The lentil salad is wonderful.

Really disappointing. We got takeout this evening and when we got home realized that the salad was so greasy that I couldn’t eat it. Yes, you read that right. The salad was drenched in so much grease that there was a puddle in the bottom of the bowl. My husband, who was able to stomach more than a few bites, said the grease was from the chicken and not salad dressing. Gross!

So much potential, so disappointing. I’m such a big fan of ‘Chipotle-style’ Mediterranean food like Roti and Cava Grill so I had high hopes for this place. The space is beautiful and clean but that’s about as far as the positives go. I ordered two chicken platters(one with rice and one with fries) and a side Greek salad. My high expectations were met short – the fries were mushy and the Greek salad was 95% green pepper, lacked tomato and cucumber, and had one cube of feta. I’m fine with blah food, knowing maybe a restaurant had an off night, but the icing on the cake was the nausea that both my boyfriend and I had following. If you want good, inexpensive Mediterranean food, try the Med Spot on 15th and U… same price point but far superior.

Actual rating: 3.5 stars. There’s a caveat to my review: we got catering for work. So I can’t really speak about the vibes of the place. But as a to-go work order, GRK is great. All of orders had our names written on them and were delivered on time while the food was still hot. I got the beef/lamb Yeero plate with fries and the prassino tzatziki. The gyros were a little too dry for my taste but the flavors were good. I heard from my coworkers that the kaftero hummus was great(and actually spicy). The pita was warm and chewy. While the food was good, there was nothing truly standout about it. For a work lunch, I definitely appreciate how delicious it was. The portions were also perfectly sized so you won’t slip into a food coma afterward.

Working in Farragut on a Sunday, there are not many options for fast casual/cheap lunch. I was walking over to Chipotle when I decided to give GRK a try. It was just OK. More expensive than Chipotle(and smaller portion, which isnt a bad thing, aint nobody need all that food Chipotle gives you…) I ordered a plate, which was ok. The meat wasnt bad, but wasnt great. The pita was dry, the sauce, blah. I wouldnt throw a plate of this away if someone dropped it off on my desk, but I would go to Greek Deli down the street 1000x over GRK, and will probably keep walking to Chipotle if Im working on a weekend in the future.

The greek deli next to it is way better. This is the greek version of Roti but not as good. You have the option of getting a pita sandwich or platter. After that you choose the meat, a sauce and if you have a platter a side(fries, rice, slaw). I ordered the chicken platter with rice and Tzatziki. The platter came with salad and pita. The chicken was really tasty and I really liked it, the rice was horrible and mushy, The salad small and tzatziki was very lumpy. In general, mediocre. The only good thing is their décor and sleek style. Won’t go back,…

Since this place on the stretch of the 19th street boasts a huge patio, I decided to give it a try. Yikes. Fatty chewy lamb(mixed with beef, I get it, cheap and cheap) rolled up in a pita with a smash of tasteless sour cream, and your regular LTO thrown in. Party in my mouth(not). Grease running down my fingers. 700+ empty tasteless calories. That extra star? That’s for patio seating only. Greek deli! Forgive me! I will never cheat on you, ever again.

It’s ok, had the lamb and beer gyro. Nothing to write home about. It could have used s bit more meat and lettuce and tomato and been a bit bigger for the price.

I was really craving Greek food so I stopped in here for lunch today only to be EXTREMELY disappointed. First off, they are a little snippy if you don’t know exactly what you want(as in having made every decision already) immediately when you reach the front. I ordered the gyro plate — I ordered two sauces, which of course was an extra charge but«could only be done on the side».(That turned out to be a blessing since the spicy one was NOT good and I didn’t even end up using it.) First, they messed up my order and gave me chicken when I asked for lamb, so i had to go back up and question it… after examining my receipt, they agreed it was the wrong protein. Anyways, I finally got the right order, which w a drink was almost $ 15. For that much, I think it should have been a large portion to begin with… but honestly, it didn’t matter because the meat was awful — the meat was EXTREMELYTOUGH and most of it completely inedible. The fries were okay, but definitely could have been crispy(maybe a consequence of having to wait for them to get me the right meat?). Even the pita bread was a little hard. A VERYDISAPPOINTINGEXPERIENCEOVERALL in spite of my intense Greek craving.

These guys advertise on Unilocal and have had Unilocal events – I wish I liked my Gyro. Much of the meat was so chewy that I could not eat it. I tried. Had I not gotten it to go id have gotten my money back. I’ll spare you a photo of chewed upon, tough meat but trust an Elite Unilocaler who does not hate on businesses that this sucked.

I was heading back to my hotel when I so happened to walk by GRK Fresh Greek and noticed their snow crusted board spotlighting their frozen Greek yogurt.(Yay for traditional advertising methods — it still works!) I love froyo and was intrigued by what Greek froyo would taste like so I had to give it a try. Turns out they serve both frozen Greek froyo and regular Greek yogurt in(skim and 2%). The lady at the counter was nice enough to let me try all three options, I didn’t care too much for the plain Greek yogurt, it thick and just too tart but I am not a fan of plain yogurt anyway. The frozen Greek yogurt was on point! It was milky and slightly sweet with a hint of tartness that wasn’t overbearing. You could choose from two sizes and there were a variety of very interesting toppings you could choose from such as rose petal preserves and fig jam. Unfortunately I am not interesting, nor adventurous so I topped my frozen treat with granola, fresh strawberries and Greek honey. Highly highly recommend you jump on this frozen Greek yogurt! They also have meal options here too, yeeros, salads and soups. But like I said I came for the froyo and I am so glad that I did!

So very saddened I walked out of my way for this place. The lamb and beef«meat» was more like over cooked and burnt ends of jerky. The tsitsiki had way too much lemon zest where I was expecting a more traditional dill flavor. I got the plate and thought it would be a real gyro instead it was a Mish mash without onions??? Of a cardboard container of all the ingrediants with a small pita quartered. Oh the fries… the fries… let’s not even go there Sorry guys 1 star because I can’t give 0. Larger cuts of lamb and beef FRESHSLICED off the spit is how you serve a Gyro, not ¾ inch brunt ends that have been sitting in the warming tray long enough to be called jerky.

Came here for lunch and got the Plate with lamb and beef and the GRK sauce. Oh and a side of fries. Meat was a little dry. Everything else was wonderful! I’d go back just for the fries!

3.5 stars. When you walk in the super high ceilings and windows really grab your attention. There’s a front outdoor seating area that has a good spot to watch people walking up and down 19th st. There’s also a variety of types of seats that include a long table for about 10, smaller tables for 2 and 4 tops, and barstools facing outside lining the windows. You order at the counter and wait for your food– I’m not sure how this works when they’re crowded but they brought our meals to us when they were ready. I really love their lamb/meat gyro. it’s the tits! I also had the avgolemono soup. The gyro is priced slightly higher than you’d hope for the size of the gyro(it’s a little bit on the smaller side) but i always am excited to eat it. The soup was good but not enough contents in it– very brothy but the flavors were great. The rice chicken and lemon really shine. All said and done I’ll definitely come by here when I’m in the area to grab a quick lamb gyro. I wish I worked around the place so that I could get it more often.

This place was a large disappointment. There are a number of better options in the area and I recommend trying one of them instead. The food is mediocre at best, the portions are ridiculously small, and everything is incredibly overpriced. If you do eat here, do not buy the avgolemono soup! Its terrible. Imagine a soup with lots of salt, too much rice and almost no chicken. Then, picture yourself disliking it and regretting having paid $ 5 for it. A complete waste of money and calories. I also had a $ 10 chicken plate with prassino tzatziki sauce and french fries, and that too was hugely underwhelming. The dish had some positive aspects: nice presentation, okay fries, salad and pita as well as a tasty tzatziki sauce. However, to me, the negatives far outweighted the positives, and the most glaring negative was the chicken. Half of it was cooked to a crisp and inedible while the other half was tasteless and impossible to enjoy on its own. It is shockinly inferior to the chicken offered at other options in the area(Zorbas, Roti, etc.). If I were you, I would avoid the chicken. Beyond the displeasing chicken, the portions were shockingly small and unbalanced. Although you get a couple of pieces of pita, you get ultimately no salad/tomato, a small corner of meat and at most fifteen french fries. By putting the pita inside the plate instead of on the outside, the plate gives the appearance of being full whereas in reality it is actually a third empty. If you go, ask for the pita on the side and you’ll be shocked at how little food you actually get with your plate… by the time you put toppings on one slice of pita, you’ll be out of toppings! So, to recap, I spent $ 15 on an awful soup and a disappointing, partially empty chicken plate that failed to even satisfy my hunger. Definitely an experience I hope never to replicate!

Delicious Greek food. Reminds me of home. Having said that, here is my humble review. I had the lamb and beef plate with brown rice. The meat was flavorful, the side salad was well seasoned and refreshing. I got the GRK tatziki which was creamy and tangy. I also had a chance to try the spicy tatziki which was also good but spicy. Friendly, informative staff, sizeable portions. It seems like a great place for lunch and/or informal dinner. I will be back to try more yummy dishes at GRK.
