I wanted to leave this place a scathing review however I seem to have been beaten to punch. The host all but threatened my group and when we couldn’t trouble the Ill tempered«gentlemen» to provide enough seating for our group, so we left. The aroma of this establishment was not familiar to other hooters I have had the pleasure of dining at and the ambiance was nothing if not hostel. I was, in essence treated like a delinquent John at a less than reputable brothel.

The address listed on Unilocal is incorrect. I tried alerting the site, but nothings been changed. I’ve come to this Hooters once, and even for the chain, this one is a bit poor. The floors, tables and bathroom were not very clean. The food was fine, and my server was good, though she and her workmates looked a bit overwhelmed.

For me, service was very quick, foe some others weren’t as fast. My waitress was very nice, and the food was pretty good too.

Update: It still sucks. The waitresses still have an attitude and seemingly hate their job. I don’t get it. If you hate it so much, why continue to work there? It’s not like it’s your only choice, unless you came from nothing and have still made nothing of yourself. Also, there’s this Hooters girl named Caroline who I thought was very nice and polite, until the very end of the night. I tipped her(generously, 18 percent) on each of the two receipts I had for beer and food, respectively. I went over to another one of my friend’s tables, she came back to my original one and said«lol» after looking at what I left(according to my friend). I went to go confront her about it saying I didn’t write what she thought I did, but she just nonchalantly brushed me off. She’s a prime example of how they’re all tip hungry and the niceness is just a fake cover up for what they really want(as if that were a surprise. Seriously, what did she expect for me to leave, a $ 20 bill? Hell no! I mean the service was good, but no Hooters girl deserves that much. I don’t care who they are or how good they look. Anyway, moving on… The new manager sucks. He seems very distant, especially after giving me dry looks and treating my like an outsider instead of a customer. I have a feeling he won’t be there for long. Save your money and dine elsewhere. They deserved none of it.

My friends and I went here on Monday for unlimited traditional wings for $ 14.99.(Interesting because boneless is $ 11.99 for unlimited.) Anyway, we were so ecstatic to be at hooters(it used to be a favorite place of mine; the chicken is truly delicious). Anyway, the seating is a bit uncomfortable. We had a party of six and we sat in stools in a small space. Our server, Naomi was very helpful with the flavors of the wings. Very straightforward and to the point, which I enjoy. Naomi did get into a verbal altercation with another employee at the restaurant, but I’m not holding it against her. The wings weren’t as great as I remembered. The lemon pepper rub was my favorite. I did order two rounds of wings. My second round was hot but the wings were too slimy for my liking — if that makes sense. We also ordered fried pickles which were enjoyable also. And I ordered a mix which made my stomach hurt after because it was so sweet but totally worth it.

First, I loved the menu options, but this location is the pits! I heard another party threatening to cancel their order because it was taking too long. Then, I went into the ladies room to wash my hands, and there was blood on/in the toilets. Our drinks were extremely weak, and being a bartender, I’m not keen on complaining at drinks, or want them extra strong. We just decided to leave.

Out with friends for Sunday football and decided to stop here for a bite to eat. This place is ridiculously bad and the worst place you could go to in DC. It took 40 min to get our food and the place was 75% occupied. The picture attached shows the quality of the food provided. I understand why you go to a Hooters for the atmosphere but the servers are about 5’s and have no personality. Avoid this place at all costs!!!

I’ve been coming here a lot. But, tonight the service is just not that great. Not so crowded Saturday night, and our server Drea, is not the greatest. I guess because I’m a female, with my bff, who is also a girl, we can just get bad service. We have never had this type of service. Our servers have always been so nice friendly and talkative. She’s didn’t really care if we needed anything. We normally sit and just chill for a few, and have drinks. We didn’t finish our drinks, because we were so ready to go. Being turned off by the whole thing, makes me not want to go back. Hope Miss. Drea is nicer to her other customers. She might thought because most of them were men tonight. And, yes I wrote this waiting on my check.

This place is just ok plan on being there for a while because they are sallloooww getting food out. I had the bacon chicken ranch sandwich without the ranch I preferred to have BBQ instead. The sandwich was pretty good fried chicken fingers and of course bacon can’t go wrong, now the French fries are not very good they cook almost a whole bag of fries at one time the fries in the middle dont get cooked. Actually everything they fry is cooked in big batches instead of about a half of a basket just get more fryers.

Always love this chain. Have had mixed experiences with this location, because sometimes the food quality goes down when they are busy. But I have to say that the last time I went(just a couple weeks ago), the place was not busy and the wings were OUTSTANDING. Wish they would open one in Crystal City, I would go very frequently. The downtown location is tough unless you live or work there — but I make the journey at least once a month because I love the place.

Rude as hell. Called and was put on hold for 10 minutes to get hung up on. Had to call back again, young lady answered the phone, «What can I get you?» aka Miss. Attitude. What? Do you not answer the phone saying«Thanks for calling Hooters?» Come to find out, it’s Miss Ashley E, bartender. She needs to work on customer service and being a little nicer to her customers. I usually leave a $ 10 tip. Not this time!

Where to begin? Well first off, the service is quick and friendly. That’s the only plus. The bad side is the cook staff. Turning tables here is apparently a lost art since watching paint dry or ice melt from your drink would be quicker than actually getting your food out. If you’ve got time to kill(say a couple of hours), it’s not a bad place to mingle with the wait staff.

Myself and a female friend were in Chinatown for a walk and wanted to eat something. I was craving a buffalo chicken salad and a quick search of the menus in the area showed us only one that was serving that and didn’t have a wait. The fact that they also had fried pickles didn’t hurt either. So we went in and sat at the bar and ordered almost immediately. It took us almost 45 minutes to get our food, which is obviously unacceptable. When we asked the waitress, she seemed disinterested and like that was par for the course. When the food arrived it was large portions and good, everything you’d want and the prices were cheap. Wouldn’t go back if I was hungry or in a rush but the food wasn’t bad and the prices were good.

Great fast service. The Only plus. Came for wings and oysters. They did not have any oysters. Yes, you heard me. None. The wings were made quick and decent seasoning on the Parmesan and garlic. The old bay joints were just okay. But they were both extremely greezy. TVs playing lots of sports. It a sports bar. Check. The bathroom? A hot mess. First about every 30 minutes, just send someone in to straighten up. But that ain’t it. Repair the counter. Really? Bathroom was falling apart. Okay, I’m done. Just expected more from a spot in the heart of the city. The servers are great. But tonight, we came for the food and you fell short.

One and a half stars. You don’t come for service or non-wings food, you come here for T&A and to watch UFC with lines to gross bathrooms. Camp out a little early if you want a table, and it’ll take all night to pull the staff away from socializing with each other anyways. Service drops if you have a female patron with you. Absurd gloop of sour cream on the tots, mostly generic brew list. At least the salad greens weren’t wilted? Good luck getting the beer you ordered and the correct saucing on your wings, and that glass of water will taste like soap.

I have been alive 27 years. I spent 24 of them living in New York City. I spent another two living in New Haven and have spent the last year living in DC. I have probably eaten at hundreds of restaurants if I would have to conservatively guess. This background is very important to know because this«restaurant» was by far, hands down the worst customer service experience I have ever had in my entire life. First of all there was no wait at 8 o’clock on a Friday night. That should have been my first red flag. Every other restaurant in the area had at least a 30 minute wait. I was with a party of six who were extremely hungry and we were in no position to be choosy. In short: the wait staff is rude and clueless, and the manager is even worse. We waited 25 minutes without being acknowledged by our server. When she finally got around to taking our order it was painstakingly slow and complicated process. Despite the fact that our orders were incredibly simple and straight forward, no substitutions or weird requests.(We will all have wings. Thanks!). We never had water, our food was cold on arrival. The manger was useless. Everyone who works here is Olympic level skilled at avoiding eye contact with customers as they wander around aimlessly in circles doing nothing. Also our appetizer arrived ten minutes after we were finished our entrees and were waiting for our check. HA! I think it is also important to note that the place was not crowded by any means. It didn’t seem like it would be an particularly stressful or hectic endeavor do something as simple as bring us a few pitchers or beer, but it was. I want to sit every waitress who works here down and talk to them about combat veterans and brain surgeons and what it means to have a hard job. I know being food service is not the easy and I have a lot of respect for people who do it but give me a break. This is not Vietnam. Take the orders, bring the food and get over yourselves.

Sitting at the bar looking at the kitchen and notice no one was bothering to clean the floor looked very dirty, service and food was ok, notice at least 4 girls looking at there cell phone, even the cooks were doing the same as if they were bored …, Not ever coming back here again !!!

Its not femnistically correct to like this place? But I do. Not for the booze or boobs. For. The. Love. Of. Wings. The wings are da . I dont care that Becky cant hold a 2 minute convo on the Iran Contra Affair. I dont even care that Suzie rolled her eyes when I asked for change back from a 20 for my 18 dollar meal(I like to tip in Golden Dollars). What I do care about is good food and Hooters never displeases me. The boobs are like at the bottom of my list – I swear! I got my own Doubles to worry about ;-)

Apparently you have to be a man to even get seated here. My sisters along with my nephew walked inside and went to hostess stand and waited, but no one paid attention so they walked out. I really wanted to meet them here to eat before watching Transiberian Orchestra at Verizon Center, but you forced us to go to Fuddruckers. Get it together management. I know it’s HH and it’s a busy time(6:15pm) but service is service! Writing on behalf of my sisters who aren’t aren’t Unilocal
