I visited Ivy Nails this last Saturday to get a manicure/pedicure. The salon was very clean and comfortable and the employees were welcoming. With that said, I got the best manicure I have gotten in a long time. It is now Tuesday and the paint on the nails have yet to chip or break! Usually manicures last only a day at most, I am amazed how long my nails have lasted. My pedicure was great too! I have a big toe nail that recently fell off and they used a slow drying bottom and top coat to make sure the polished stayed. I will definitely be going back to this salon.

Shocked this place has such good reviews. I went due to the reviews and am less than impressed. Ladies are rude, by no means gentle, and the quality was nothing to write home about either. For a $ 40 gel manicure I certainly expected A LOT more. Will not be going back!

Quick and clean Brazilian and brow done by Ann. The place I used to go to was overpriced, but this had pretty good pricing! They were very friendly and the place was clean and relaxing.

Can’t wait to see the ladies at Ivey’s. I love the Mani & Pedi and their attentions to cleanliness and details. They do such a great job that my nails don’t get chipped and my color looks fresh. I was reflecting on my twice a month visit since 2006!

I would proudly say that ivy is the best place where u can get your nails done with full of satisfaction. They do paraffin waxing for your heels with no charge. That was the best part and i’ve never had that in other places. They use warm gloves instead of using water to soak your cuticles which is helpful for your dry skin. Thank you for your best mani pedi.

Anne is fantastic! Clean, open salon. I loved my relaxing manicure and Anne was friendly and accommodating. I will be back!(Also– student discount :)!)

I give two stars for the mani-pedi but negative two for the Brazilian wax. I just don’t understand how someone could miss so much hair and leave so much wax on, ouch! She tried to wax way too large of pieces and it either ripped my skin or broke the hair thus making it too short to actually be pulled from the root… pretty irritating. It was also the most painful wax I’ve ever had and I’ve been getting waxed for 3 years. Mani pedi was great, my feet are super soft, they took their time and my nails and toes look very neat and clean. The women who work there are all very nice and accommodating, they just seriously need to learn how to wax. Go for the $ 45 mani-pedi and go literally anywhere else for the wax.

go to Ivy Salon for 3 years I get waxing even brazilian done there every month. I love that it is the most clean salon that I ever been. Most of the time I do not even make appointment but get the best service… I am also very allergic person that the products that it is been used in the salon do not cause me any rashes… Just love it! Must try!

My cuticles were neglected. I’m not in love. Had my first pedi for sandal weather season, and have had much better Mani/Pedi’s for the same price or less. I’m in DC for the summer from NYC, and it was way overpriced compared to the better quality one can find in NYC for much less – and I’m not talking about the cheap, cheap Asian nail places. Overall, I’m always looking to rave about great places, and happy to spend the money for quality. Definitely will not return.

I made a last-minute, split-second decision to get a pedicure after work one afternoon, walked into Ivy Salon with no appointment, and was graciously accommodated right away. It’s your basic, no-frills pedi, but the nail tech did a wonderful job: the toes looked fab for a few days, and the polish lasted okay with a few chips. This is a really convenient location. The salon is bright, airy, and clean. The floors are a polished cherry hardwood I couldn’t stop ogling, and small, bucolic paintings adorn the walls. There’s no chemically smell permeating the air. I do wish they’d had music playing or something, tho. It was just three employees and me at the time, so the sound of my magazine pages turning was like a whip cracking in the silent salon. Subtract one star for the pricing. $ 33 for a pedi alone, nearly $ 10 more than my regular nail place but this *is* the Palisades, after all. Another star deducted for the fact that my tech’s cell rang several times during my treatment, and each time she’d answer it, get up, and walk away to talk. Not exactly the relaxing or pampered experience I was after. All in all, tho, Ivy Salon is a nice place to get your nails did. Don’t forget your cash for the tip, tho. Since I hadn’t planned ahead they were nice enough to let me add a tip to my credit card, despite a policy otherwise.

Best manicure and pedicure for the price! The service is great– very friendly staff, which is hard to come by, and the Essie nail polish lasted me weeks :)

I’ve been going to Ivy for years and they are always clean, friendly and do great work. I recently had a pedicure before going away for three weeks and there was nary a chip when i got back! The ladies there could not be sweeter and will always try to accommodate any walk-ins!
