I haven’t changed the stars, but wanted to note that today 11÷18÷15(approx 3 ½ months after our experience with Johnson) the owner of the company, Curtis Johnson, contacted me. He asked me what I would accept in order to take down this Unilocal review, and he offered $ 300 was the max he could afford to give to me for us to be «OK» and to remove this review, along with my requested hand-written apology. At first I accepted and toyed with the idea but then declined the offer. Out of $ 1,504.25(could be off by a few cents) that it cost for labor and loading(not including packing materials) for Johnson’s part of the move, I don’t think that $ 300 covers our stress and anxiety related to their business. Though Curtis was friendly on the phone, it seemed to take a bit of teeth-pulling to get him to acknowledge and apologize for the incidences, originally stating that this is due to «different people having different expectations,» to which I flat out was appalled by — no one should deal with an experience like we did. I hope that Johnson Moving & Storage takes this experience as a business lesson. Correct your actions immediately. Try to right the wrong as soon as possible, not as soon as you see a Unilocal review tarnishing your reputation. Represent your business with pride and assure the consumer that this will never happen again and provide a fair and reasonable compensation plainly based off of an unfortunate circumstance without trying to cover it up and make it appear as if it didn’t happen. I still stand by my review. Curtis, if you’d like to discuss further remedy of the situation, you have my number.

do not use this company, they have bedbugs in their trucks! my daughter had bed bugs in her apartment after using them and her roommates did not because they used someone else. they admitted they don’t clean the trucks between moves!
