I came into the store to rent a tuxedo for NYE. There happened to be some sort of glitch with thier computer system while they were ringing me up and I ended up browsing the store twice top to bottom while the sales staff was on the phone with their head office troubleshooting the tux order. I saw some nice three button knit long sleeve polo shirts and a raincoat that was sort of alright looking but the rest of their stuff was pretty dreadful. The next day I returned to pick up the tux and the shirt sleeves were comically short and the jacket fit like a potato sack. The staff was pretty helpful and popped a new shirt from its plastic wrapper which was promptly ironed and a new jacket was pulled off the rack and it fit well enough, not great but what are you going to do when the event is tomorrow? I would shop here again only due to the fact it’s right next to my office.

The experience dealing with the untrained staff is the worst! Only one sales associate or manager knows how to access computer system to alter or create tux rental reservation for my groomsmen. Had to go to 2 different locations & call corporate office to complete my order. Everytime, I come in to make an adjustment, no sales associate knows what to do! Very frustrating. One associate, Marcel, was very helpful, in processing my order & doing follow up calls. I under why they were bought by Men’s Warehouse. Take your wedding business elsewhere, unfortunately I cannot my wedding is too close!

Note that this was a month ago now so things may have changes. The salesperson was extremely rude. I tried on one shirt, and then was walking back to the changeroom with another shirt(still just a single shirt — I had put the other one back) when he said«You can only try on one shirt.» I replied«one at a time?» and he said«No, you can only try one on — they all fit the same.» They were completely different cuts of shirt, but even if he had been correct, I’ve still never heard anything so outrageous in terms of customer service. Needless to say, I will not be returning.

Dishonest sales people. They will straight up lie to you when you ask them about sales they have had in the past. They will say the item you are considering has not been on sale recently and that this is the best price you will ever get it, even though I saw it on sale earlier in the week. Ended up buying 2 suits there and they added the travelers crease without even asking, charging me 20 bucks for something I didn’t want. I didn’t even notice this until I had my receipt walking out of the store. Every time I walk in here, I feel more like they are trying to swindle me more than they are trying to help me.

I don’t know this place has a low rating. Everytime I come here, the staff takes the time to help me out in what I need time and time again. There was one time I bought a dress shirt and I need at that moment, one of the staff ironed the shirt for me. So come one, come all and revisit Jos. You may change your mind about this place.

Over the weekend I visited Jos A Bank for the first time and it is sure to be my last. I entered this store with a shirt that was gifted to me that was not tapered and thus wanted to make an exchange. Being my first visit I asked the salesperson to direct me to the shirts section, then asked him to explain a little about the shirts since it was my first visit. The employee told me, «these are the shirts, here and there.» I politely asked him where I would find tapered shirts and if there were levels of such and then proceeded to ask about wrinkle free options. He picked up a shirt and replied, «if you could read you would see that this says something» as he pointed to the no wrinkles text. I immediately apologized for being an uninformed customer and decided to look through the messy store on my own. I finally commented on the poor organization of the store and left.
