The chicken was kind of bland, but I was considering trying to gyro meat next time. Then I found some long hairs in the rice. Gross.

(2.5 stars) The food here is alright and similar to that which you would get at a mediocre gyro restaurant. I don’t think it compares favorably to other Greek food trucks and given the high number of such trucks, I doubt that I will revisit this one. I ordered the gyro with rice, which was ~$ 9 and came with a decent amount of food. The gyro itself was the best part of the meal. It was actually pretty good, not the best food truck gyro, but it had some flavor and a nice crisp texture. The yogurt sauce was good but unmemorable, and the hot sauce was unnoticeable(although that may just be because it didn’t come with much). The most egregious issue with the dish though was the rice. It was literally just white sticky rice and could not have been any more bland. It actually detracted from the quality of the gyro meat. Once the gyro meat was gone, I had no desire to finish the rest of it. Even when mixed with the yogurt sauce, the rice was still a disappointment.
