Nour performed a miracle for my headshots and somehow made the makeup look subtle yet polished. She’s a must for your headshot if you want to look good in photos — you just won’t be able to get it right at home. Actually she’s just amazing for everything!
Honestly, I didn’t look in a mirror until she was done and I was blown away. She transformed me into a glamorous professional, in less than 30 minutes! She’s the best, book now and again and again.

I’ve had the pleasure of working with Nour from MadeUp Art on two different occasions. One was for a photoshoot for a magazine, and I was so entranced by the quality of her work and her sincerity, that I knew right away that she would someday be my wedding makeup artist. That was in 2011.
Two years later, as I was planning my October 2013 wedding, Nour was one of the first vendors I booked. She was easy to contact and reach, and she was always very prompt with her correspondence. I found her to be professional yet very warm and friendly.
I knew from my previous experience with her that she uses almost exclusively MAC cosmetics — which I love — and she obviously knows what she is doing, as my makeup and my bridesmaids’ makeup didn’t budge throughout an entire afternoon and evening of dancing and revelry. She applied false eyelashes like a true pro, and I wish I could replicate her deft eye liner skills everyday!
Of course, her services do not come for cheap, but you get what you pay for. She included a trial at her studio in her rate, she made sure I was happy with the amount and style of makeup applied, and she arrived on time and with everything she needed the day of the wedding.
My 4 bridesmaids and I were absolutely thrilled with our makeup application, and the makeup photographed beautifully, but also looked great in person.

I really enjoued working with Nour and Jackie — they were both so professional and responsive to my needs during my wedding week. Jackie came to the hotel I was getting ready in the day of my wedding and gave me the exact look I was hoping for. I would highly recommend them for any bride!

I hired her for my wedding and the makeup look good but it was gone after two hours. My bridesmaids and I were very disappointed and we all agreed that she over charged us. The day of my wedding I asked her a couple of questions and she told me, «I’m gonna be honest with you, you’re talking too much!» That is not what someone whom you’re paying should be telling you, even worse when it’s on your wedding day. She works at her small apartment and yet she charges people as if she was out of a Manhattan high end salon!

Nour and I met through the owner of Carines Bridal in Washington D.C. where I purchased my wedding dress. She is truly a gift to anyone who appreciates the art of makeup and a true artist. I have referred her to over 50 people in the Washington D. C area. Since my big day Nour has successfully made me look better than anyone could have made me look for various events in the Washington D. C Metro area (Halloween, photo shoots, Galas, Charity events) Nour’s work cannot be recreated by any other artist and for that she is is truly unique.

Nour has done my makeup a couple of times for important events, and I must say she is the absolute best. She is truly an artist! I’ve seen her work for weddings as well as fashion shows as well as funky wild photoshoots — and from classy and elegant to wild and playful she shines!

Nour is fantastic! I am an event planner and have worked with her on weddings in the past but on Friday she make-​up for me for a personal party I was attending and I have never be told that many times how good I looked! She is amazing and a delight to be around.
