I don’t usually write a lot of reviews. Only when I feel a company truly deserves to have it’s praises sung or show everyone what a bunch of jerks they are. This one is definitively the former. We have 3 cats, so naturally the house is a mess sometimes. hehehe We do our best to keep it clean and I think we do a good job. Well, we had a wild hair and decided to get it professionally cleaned and after looking around, we called this place. The cleaner that came was Sarah and she was just amazing. Very nice, detailed, hardworking, very professional and knew exactly what to do and how to do it. She played with the cats some during her break and they all adored her. plus she was very careful around them when she was moving around a lot and going in out and of the house. Obviously, an animal lover. After she was done, we barely recognized everything. The windows were so clear and shiny, it looked like you just walk right thru them. She gave us some tips on how to organize things to make cleaning quicker and easier later on. Talk about getting the royal treatment! Even the cats were afraid to walk on the floors and mess them up.

I was really impressed with the work that Mary and her assistants provided. I usually don’t hire housekeepers but I had out of town guests coming and wanted my place to look really nice. They were fast and professional and even got out a tricky carpet stain I’ve had forever. I will definitely use them again.

I was apprehensive to utilize a cleaning service since my place was so dirty. I honestly didn’t want someone else to see how bad it had gotten, but I knew I couldn’t do very well on my own. Luckily this was recommended to me from a friend who was extremely pleased with their services.
My cleaner (Rose), showed up on time and was extremely personable. We went over the general things I wanted clean and I left her to take care of business. I must say, she completely blew me away with how clean everything was afterwards. I was nervous about my kitchen mostly, but somehow she made the floor completely spotless. She definitely went above and beyond.
Everything was stellar. Her customer service, the amount of time it took, and the extremely reasonable price of the service all contributed to a very good experience with them. I will definitely be utilizing their services in the future and I would highly recommend them to anyone. They can make anything spotless.

I made an appointment and met Sarah. She was very nice and did a great job with my house. Everything I asked for was taken care of promptly and she did a very thorough job. The bathroom was as clean as I have ever seen it. I would definitely recommend them.

I made an appointment and had a very nice lady named Lisa who met me at a home on time. She was very nice and courteous. I walked who through each room showing her what I needed done. I had a mildew spot in one bedroom from a window leak that needed removed. Lisa did an excellent job at cleaning my home. I would definitely like to have her return. Prices were very reasonable and Lisa was efficient.

I was doing consulting work in DC for a few months, and I hired maids dc to handle the cleaning. Cleaning is just something that I do not enjoy no matter While I never used a cleaning service before because of the cost, this place is awesome. Cleaning is just something that I just do not enjoy doing, so the convenience is really nice. One time my mother came and she was really impressed by how well I cleaned the place. It was absolutely spotless, and she’s picky. She was surprised that I was really her son and cleaned up so well.

Maids did such an amazing job in my apartment. I’m very busy at work but really needed to get my apartment cleaned for my parent’s upcoming visit. They’re really picky about cleanliness and I didn’t want them to see my apartment in such a mess.
They were able to accomodate my work schedule and came after I got home. I let the cleaners into my house and then left for dinner. When I came back, my apartment was spotless. The air was fresh and everything was so clean and neat. They scrubbed inside the cabinets in the kitchen and bathroom as well as organized my pantry. My clothes were folded on my bed and most importantly, even the toilets and toilet area was scrubbed down.
It feels like a whole new apartment and I couldn’t thank this place more than enough. My parents also noted how nice my apartment was when they arrived. If only they saw my place before I had called Maids for cleaning!

I lived in dc with some friends over the winter and ended up staying there longer than I intended. I promised that before I left, I would leave the place spotless as a thank you for letting me stay. When it came time to pack and move all my stuff out, it got a little busy and decided to hire some house cleaners instead of doing it all by myself. A friend recommended this cleaning service to me because of it’s affordability and professional service. I’m glad I called them because they really did a good job and I felt that I could return the favor to my friend. The cleaners did a really good job mopping and cleaning all the dust and grime thats accumulated and they even organized clutter and clothes lying around. It was in such good shape after it reminded us of our mother’s houses. Great cleaning service and great price.

I usually don’t use cleaning services because I can sometimes be picky about the way I want things cleaned, but Maids DC proved my doubts wrong.
Not long after helping a close friend move into the DC area, we decided to try booking a cleaner through the Maids DC website. The cleaner came right on time, took note of all our detailed instructions and was super efficient, friendly and thorough. The cleaner dusted, swept, vacuumed all the hard to reach places like behind the radiator, under the sofa and along the kitchen wall next to the refrigerator.
My friend was so happy that she decided to book with Maids DC on a monthly basis. Highly recommended!

It’s always hard to find reliable cleaning services and to be able commit to Maids DC helps with whenever we need quick and efficient cleaning (ie. after hosting parties, when having family guest over, or if you’re just feeling lazy: D). They’re great with communication and are very negotiable. would definitely recommend!

The services that this business provided were top notch. While I was staying at a friends place in D.C., I noticed how clean her place was and she explained how she hired the maids from this business. I actually met one of them, and she was polite, respectful, and was competent in her work ethic. Professionalism is key and Maids DC exhibits this very well.

Personally, I’m not the type to use a maid service of any kind. However when I was visiting the DC area at one time in my life, I needed help cleaning my establishment. Maids DC was recommended to me by a friend of mine, who had previously used the service before.
With the quick and very friendly community service, I definitely have no complaints whatsoever. The job was done in such an efficient manner, and I had nothing to worry during the entire process. Whenever you need some sort of cleaning service, this company is without a doubt, the way to go. Five stars from me.

I wanted to use a maid cleaning service whenever I’m in the DC area and DC Maids came at the strong recommendation of a friend. I have a dog who sheds like crazy, and I’m just tired of cleaning up all his hair. I was able to book online in a few minutes, and the Emily was there the next day.
They vacuumed, mopped, sprayed down, and wiped everything. I didn’t have to provide them with any supplies, they have it all. It was really no hassle and I’ve never seen the place cleaner (I’ve used some people on craigslist before, but was really disappointed). I had to do a double take to make sure it was really the same place that I left. I’m happy with the service.
