I will never use this ghetto staffing agency again. I used this agency while looking for work and they sent me on a few temp assignments which was okay. Then they put me with a company that in all honesty was the most unorganized place I’ve been to. When I brought it to Jeffs attention he said that he would fix things. Well the next day they let me go. I was curious so I called a friend whom I made through the assignment and she said that they were told I quit. Strike 1. Next they put me with another company and this one was ghetto as hell the staff was loud and highly unprofessional so once again I said something and when I did, I was told maybe I might be the problem. It’s no communication what so ever and then when you do finally reach someone it’s pure crap. Mb staffing stands for mostly bull s – t staffing.

I would like to express my satisfaction for the professionalism and prompt service that I experienced with MB Staffing. The staff there are all definitely a professional staff and cares about it employees needs. My enrollment and testing process flowed very smoothly, and before I could take another breathe I was getting called for interviews with very reputable companies. Within a week, my recruiter Jeffrey Hebert; whom I owe all the the thanks in the world to. Mr. Hebert matched me up with an interview with a company that offered me a job of my dreams. I am now employed thanks to the dedicated staff at MB Staffing. Mb Staffing Services certainly pulled me up when I was feeling down and defeated.

This is one of the better agencies in Washington DC. I appreciated working with Jeff and he was always attentive to my assignment. Priscilla was in charge of the day to day and administrative concerns and she is am extreme professional that is very detailed in her communication. They found me a full time role and I an very grateful to them!

I am an employer who used this company to fill my staffing needs. Here goes:
1. They habitually sent me administrators that were unprepared, emotionally unstable, lacking proper grammatical and spelling skills, and who were simply sub-​par. This caught me off guard considering that they claim to conduct extensive screening and training for their temporary staff.
2. I own a women’s only fitness studio, and the staff member in charge of sending me temps falsely told a few applicants that they needed «to look sexy» and «wear sexy clothing to work.» Again, this was not only false and not requested by me, but it was also discriminatory and was a huge overstep.
3. My studio is open outside weekday evenings and weekends, and they were very hard to contact during these hours, when they claimed to be accessible based on my needs. A few times, their temps were either late or had an issue, which left me in stressful situations, and the most disheartening thing was that they were available to help resolve these staffing issues, as they purported in the beginning.
4. One of the screeners continually spoke ill of his temps, claiming that «they must not want to work,» when he tried to solicit their help to fill a last minute shift that another temp did not show up to.
I had high hopes for this partnership, but am glad to have figured them out early in the game and will tell my story to all my entrepreneur friends so that they will avoid MB Staffing like the plague.

This review is past due considering I used MB’s services back in the summer of 2012 but better late than never!
I attempted to use agencies once or twice before and found the process was looooong and tedious. With MB, it was a piece of cake! I went to their office, which is perfectly located steps from the Chinatown metro, and it only took me about an hour to fill out my paperwork and complete the skills testing.
Jeff is awesome! He kept in touch with me about possible jobs and he wasn’t pushy when I declined a job in Tyson’s Corner (just too hard to get there w/​out a car). I ultimately ended up returning to an old job days before I was scheduled to begin a temp-​to-​possibly hire position and he sounded genuinely happy for me on the phone. Definitely try this small, well-​run agency before one of the larger companies!

The staff of MbStaffing is great. I think they definitely try hard to match good people appropriate jobs. I had a temp that surprisingly turned out to be a fluke. However, I believe that it was because the individual had things going on in their life that affected their ability to be present at the job. MbStaffing rose to the challenge and immediately filled the position with a quality candidate, who although was less experienced was better able to serve in the capacity that they were needed.

I move to DC after graduation in 2009 and had very little job experience and I was very nervous about finding a job I would like. I worked with Jeff who was beyond fabulous and the job he found me helped me create an amazing life for myself in DC. I would recommend MB Staffing to anyone.

ooohhh Matthew, welcome to what happens to blk americans DAILY. boo-​hoo, you didn’t get the job cause you weren’t blk. why not try the millions of other agencies that cater to White Americans like yourself.
I’ve worked with MB staffing agency and yes, i’m blk. It was refreshing to see young professionals looking out for other young professionals. Please do not let the above posters rating dissuade you. as you can tell by the tone of his review, he was not hired for good reasons. can you imagine working with someone like that? disgruntled much?
Mb placed me quickly and i was hired permanently at my temp job a few short months later. Mb also likes to stay in touch with you and your employer, taking their customer service an extra step further. give it a shot, i’ve referred many ppl. if anything they’ll keep your name in the data-​base for future openings.

This is the first staffing agency that I have used that I have had success with. They actually call you back and place you almost immediately as long as you are available. I know three other people besides myself that have had success and where happy with there temp assignments, two of which where hired permanently. They are extremely professional at Mb staffing and Jeffrey Hebert is wonderful with placements. He is very thorough, and takes all factors in to consideration when matching employees and clients.
