Not sure why all the bad reviews. Open at 930pm on a Friday and very convenient to our hotel. The place is relatively clean. An employee was wiping the tables and mopping the floors in the dining area while we were eating. Food was standard McD’s.

I live nearby and every day I have to pass by this location and try to resist the delicious, processed, caloric hold McDonald’s has over me. And if I’m coming from after a work happy hour, believe me, that resistance is weak. They have bathrooms that are not passcode-locked, which I appreciate when I’m in a hurry. Two stalls in the lady’s room, which is larger than some places. The seating is large and varied. If you want to sit at a barstool by the window, there are plenty of spots. If you want a table, there’s ample space. And if you prefer a booth/bench setting, that’s an option too. McDonald’s, whatever your reputation, I’m glad you exist nearby and that you can service my guilty fast-food needs. Sometimes you just need some $ 520-piece nuggets and a large fry to get through the day. I’ve got no complaints and have been treated respectfully by employees every time I’ve been here.

An early customer at 8AM, I used the men’s room. 1st toilet, no paper. 2nd toilet did not flush. Came out to a man asking for $ 1 for alcohol, no pretenses! Expect a lot better from McDonalds in the nation’s Capitol!!!

Yes, I ate at McDonald’s. Apparently I have no class or taste. Well the food tasted pretty much like any McDonald’s, but the service was good. I walked in and it was not busy, the floor was clean and I was greeted by the staff. Jazz music was playing in the restaurant. I was served by a young man named Aaron, who was extremely polite and helpful. It was a nice experience.

When business picks up, this place is very slow. Be prepared to be waiting some time for your order. Other than that, run of the mills McDees.

I’ll start by saying that I actually love McDonald’s. But the evening manager at this location must be the biggest prick of any McDonald’s worldwide. He nearly started a war with me because I asked for an extra sauce for my nuggets. I realize you hate your life, but it can’t be too much to ask that you provide some basic customer service when you work in a service industry. I hope the owner of this franchise is listening… This is why McDonald’s is losing market share. Go visit a Chick-Fil-A and learn something about service.

Very bad customer service. The employees take their time to get to the register. Not just me, but everyone else. They socialize way too much. No music playing either. Needs better management

What to say, well it’s a McDonald’s that opens early for a place to grab breakfast in D.C. I just find this location lacking in good customer service and not as clean. My orders have always been correct so I can’t complain on that. This branch would not be my first choice.

A Health Inspector’s Dream! This place never smells like what it cooks! It smells really bad, like a mix of dirty mop, bleach, and rancid meat. The breakfast sandwiches don’t taste like any I’ve ever had at other McDonald’s establishment so it makes me question the cleanliness of the restaurant. The service is fast and the employees are pleasant. The only time you might have an issue is if you try to redeem something from a promotion, then the staff may go off on you, speaking in Spanish about you and telling you to give them x amount of change in order to redeem something labeled as free. The manager will be your best friend in this case. You might have to hold your nose to really have a pleasant experience. I wouldn’t recommend sitting and eating, so you should be prepared to order your meal to go.

This is the only McDonald’s conveniently located between the L’Enfant Plaza and Federal Center Southwest Metro stations. Overall, the restaurant’s interior design is very classy. The food and service is great. The seating is more than adequate.

Never opens on time. Supposed to open at 5 am. I sit outside until 10 minutes after 5 then drive off. I normally start work before they open but when I don’t and have 30 minutes to spare I’d like to be able to get some breakfast. Maybe if their corporate office was notified they might just open at the time they say they’re going to.

This McDonald’s rarely has its iced items available, I have walked in multiple times looking for frozen lemonade or ice cream cones. Some machine is always out of order… The employees never run out of excuses… Whenever I walk by and see the advertisement for the frozen lemonade, it taunts me. Can someone please get this place a new machine? Sad day.

The serving sizes are so different to what we get in Adelaide. Much better money for value. At this McDonalds, the food is definitely good, McDonalds in the US has a lot more flavour(and probably more fat) than back home. The Big Mac I had was well flavoured, had a rich beef taste and the lettuce was crisp and fresh. However with this said, the waitstaff at this particular store weren’t particularly the most friendly people around. When I went here for breakfast, they forgot a hash brown with my McValue Meal and they didn’t even apologise for the poor service.

Service poor. No customers but staff didn’t even look at me for 5 minutes. The only reason I stayed is it’s late, I just flew in and I’m starving. Manager rude to customer while I was standing here.

A nice remodel + finally getting a full McCafe setup = I’m kinda loving it… it’s still a regular old McDonalds at the end of the day. I still won’t eat their food, but I do enjoy a McFrappe on hot day.

How is it possible for this McDonalds to ruin their biscuits??? Possibly by serving them a day old. This is the worst Mickey D’s I’ve ever been to, even worse than the one on 57th in New York. The crew changes every month. Please someone put in a Chick Fila!

Since McDonalds came under new management, the service has been terrible. This McDonalds does not follow suit with the other McDonalds(All drinks are $.99 and here they are almost $ 2). The milkshake machine is always broke. The cashiers are friendly but forgetful about what you ordered. If you have a choice, go to another McDonalds!!!

Wow! Chaos the minute we walked in! Loud. Dirty tables. You get a number to keep track of your order. Our cashier missed to give us our number, but it was no waiting time so no biggie. They accept AMEX.

I ordered a McChicken to go today with no mayo during lunch. The service wasn’t exceptional but it wasn’t bad either. When I took the McChicken back to the office to eat, I noticed that the sandwich wasn’t even wrapped properly. The sandwich looked like it was falling out of the wrapper. McDonald’s, that is just lazy. The sandwich was good. I would go back. I hope they are more attentive to the little details.

The other Unilocalers are on target — a dirty place with slow service. I waited over 15 minutes to get a burger and fries at 2pm. Not that I expect 5 star service from McD’s but c’mon 15 minutes. I work nearby, so I see this place get slammed from 11:30−1pm. I thought I would be safe heading in around 2pm — not so much. It was obvious that no one had bothered to clean up from the lunch rush. Dirty tables, trash over flowing, and a beverage area that would make most people vomit. As a general rule, I try to avoid Mc Donalds this experience is just one more reason on why I should stick to that rule.
