McDonald’s

My opinion isn’t based on McDonald’s. Its based on THIS McDonald’s.
The ONLY reason THIS location gets a 1 is because they can’t get a big fat ZERO. The management is horrible and actually kind of dumb. The manager cussed me out once because he’s soo incompetent and it frustrated him. Asked for no pickles and no mustard on my burger and lets just say SIX times after having my burger remade… i left with no burger. They neverrr have ice cream. At night, they have the same poor guy working the entire store, so of course the drivethrough is always backed up at night! Oh and make sure you got everything before you drive off! I can’t tell you how many times I got halfway to the house and realized they left something out my order. Toooo manyyy timeesss.

Get it together McDonald’s. The sign on the front door says you open at 5am, yet when I arrive at 5:30am nobody answers in drive thru and I can clearly see 2 people on the inside.

Boo. There hours are wrong. After a long night of drinking all I crazed was some juicy, moist, cheesy, and greasy Mickey d breakfast. I search Unilocal and find this location. It says it’s open 24 hours. I am in luck especially when I see the sleepy cop in the parking lots, lots of cars and the smell of that amazingly greasy food. Then bam I am hot with the unimaginable. I enter the drive they and no one is saying anything. I must be wrong so I pull up to the window and honk. No response. Hmm. I drive around check the sign and confirm its Friday. I go back in the drive thru sill no response. I pull back around and check the door and to my dismay it’s locked. Boo hoo McDonald’s you let me down. My head still hurts and feel betrayed as your advertising is crap. How can you mislead me like that. I now have pain and suffering from you and see why I miss Taco Bell in the area. They were always open. McDonald’s and your false ads make me wanna run for the border.

I hate this place because of all the McDonald’s trash that lines the surrounding residential streets. Everywhere you look, there are McDonald’s wrappers, cups, napkins, etc. Sure, I realize it’s the fault of the obnoxious clientele that can’t be bothered to use one of the many nearby trash cans. Doesn’t matter, it’s disgusting and McDonald’s should try to be better neighbors. They have the resources, they just don’t care. Every time I walk by I pick up a few wrappers, but really it’s a drop in the bucket.
(By the way, I do not live by this McDonald’s — thankfully. However, I am in this area frequently enough to see that this is a chronic problem. I feel sorry for the people who do live nearby and hope they are complaining to the Corporate HQ or to their DC council member)

I don’t usually frequent McDonald’s except on road trips and this one is near my house by the highway.
This McDonald’s gets two stars only because they recently renovated it. However, if you order inside it is not fast food. They take FOREVER… consistently.
If you come here, use the drive through. It’s much faster!

I was in the city and needed a quick meal. I ordered my usual. Large drink, no ice, Mc Chicken, and fries fresh off the fryer. I paid and everything. The cashier was less than friendly. She made my drink, with ice, even though business seemed slow and she made sure to put «no ice» on my receipt. I politely asked for a drink with no ice and got an attitude.
Upon receiving my corrected drink, I slid down the counter to receive my food. I noticed the worker giving me fries that hadbeen sitting there. So, non-​fresh fries. I politely informed the lady of what I specified in my order and she snatched the bag back off of the counter. Then, once the fresh fries came out (which were already down in the fryer when I’d ordered), she skimped on the amount and gave me back the bag, no words or anything. It felt pretty rude.
Meanwhile, there was some miscellaneous woman pacing back and forth at the front door, inside and out, asking for food. It was pretty creepy. She even came directly to my table, asking me for a second time to give her money or food. I realize it’s not the establishment’s fault but it added to the atmosphere of my meal, which wasnt that great. I gave 2 stars because it’s a nice building and they have a dispenser for sweet n sour and bbq sauces, which I’d never seen before.

It’s a typical McDonald’s, except slower. Maybe they have hard to predict busy timea, or just need to hire more people, but any time I walk in here I always wait a strangely long time.

One of the cleanest McDonald’s in SouthEast. I’ll actually sit in and eat here. But who am I kidding it’s McDonald’s. Old people stay here and eat… lol

Worst McDonald’s I’ve ever experienced.
Been here multiple times and I have no idea why I keep coming back. Every single time the service is awful. Food is slow. Employees seem borderline incompetent and generally disinterested in serving customers.

I only go through the drive thru here because every time I have gone in someone has asked me for money. That said the drive thru experiences I have had are always positive, I get what I ordered how I ordered it in record breaking time. The drive thru people are always nice and friendly. Like Andrew said the fact that you can’t take a left back onto Penn is annoying, but hey what can they do.

Pretty much your standard McDonald’s.
Food is fast, food is cheap, food is horrible for you. Overall its convenient in a pinch, but nothing to write home about. Free wifi is nice, but that’s becoming standard now.
Note that if you got here via Potomac Ave SE, you’re going to have to swing around and head back through the side streets, as there is a divider preventing you from getting back on Potomac in the opposite direction.

This McDonald’s is pretty typical. We went in the late afternoon and the service was fairly quick. The place seemed clean enough from the brief time I was there. I think this is the only McDonald’s in Southeast.
