Great, quick, and efficient service! I had a low air pressure warning on my car for the second time in two weeks, so brought it into Menla, since they’re near my home and open late. (I previously brought my car to Jiffy Lube — they topped up my air pressure and rotated my tires — not sure if they didn’t diagnose the real problem correctly then, or if this was something new). Anyway, they were quickly able to diagnosis that the problem causing low air pressure in one of my tires was due to a bent rim. In less than 10 minutes they removed my tire, bent the rim back in place, put the tire back on, and had me out the door. For only $ 20 and with such quick service, I left a very happy camper! (Only downside is that the place somehow has TONS of mosquitoes in the front, and because I was wearing a dress, I got a good 10 bites in the 10 minutes I was there!)

I am happy with the service. I got my tire patched up within 30 minutes and done.

Okay, I normally write food reviews but I had to write a review for this place.
Saturday midnight, I noticed my tires were low on air. I checked the air pressure; it was at 20 psi!
But because it was midnight, I couldnt worry about it then.
Sunday morning, I thought to causally fill my tires at the air station at the gas station. Turned out I had a freakin’ screw stuck to my tire!!!
I had to go on a long-​distance business trip via driving the next day, so I was upset and in panic.
I knew places were closed Sundays. I felt out of luck.
Looking on Unilocal,I encountered Menla Tire Center.
Score! They are open SUNDAYS!
Drove my poor car over there, there were already a bunch of cars waiting.
When they got to me (which was pretty quick), they looked at the tire with the screw, took it off the car, and went to work right away.
I closely watched what they were doing and attempted to talk to guy. He didnt speak English very well so I just watched him and said a couple of words that were understandable and made small talk
Thank goodness I didnt need to replace the entire tire and all I needed was a patch.
They worked very fast. I watched the whole process and it seemed like a pretty good job (I dont know much about cars but Im hoping the patch they put on will last; cross fingers!)
I also asked him to check the pressure and add air on all of the tires of my car which he did, even though there was a line of cars behind me waiting to get worked on.
To apply the patch on the tire and the service, it was super affordable on a student’s budget!
Thank goodness Menla was there for the rescue, let’s hope the patch works!

Came here to explore the options of getting a new tire or a used tire. We ended up getting a new tire and they put it on for us in 10 minutes. The matriarch of the shop was a bit standoffish but the service by the two young guys that helped with the tire was good.

«Menla» means children of the community. And these owners truly represent that. Super fast service when I pulled up. Told them about the damn nail in my tire. Located the problem and got a new one on in no time.

Freaking U st with their freaking construction leaving nails the size of appendages on the road!!! Just when we went for a turn and heard the «thud thud thud». we knew. Fat nail in the tire. Using our trustworthy Unilocal app at 9:00 on a Monday morning, we found Menla tires to be the closest. Drove there, there was another car getting their tires rotated (maybe!!!)– we thought we’d have to wait until he was finished. BUT BUT BUT!!! BY GOD!!! The man can multitask! He took off our tire, patched it, and worked on the other car. in and out in 15 mins for $ 15 bucks. AMAZING.

Don’t be put off by their sketchy looking storefront and driveway.
I woke up on a snowy day to find my car with a flat. I called to see about getting it fixed, and verified over the phone they did indeed have my size tire in stock, should I need to get it replaced.
I limped over in my car (run flats), showed the guy the tire with the issue. I sat in their small waiting room, and 15 minutes and $ 15 later, I was on my way with a repaired tire (plug) and a 3 inch screw as a souvenir. No upsell, no hassle, no waiting. Super fast. I’d come back if I find myself in the same situation — their hours are amazing (9am-​8pm!) and open on Sunday too.

Straightforward and professional. Quickly determined the problem and provided quick replacement of one bad tire with comparable rubber and wear. Negotiable too.

Got 2 tires put on — fast, reasonable ($ 150). No nonsense, friendly place. The whole thing took 30 minutes with no wait. I recommend calling ahead to see if they have the tire size you need!

Visiting from out of town & I needed a tire replace, so I went on line. Based on the reviews I decided to give them a try. They were great! I was in & out in 10 minutes I paid $ 58 for a used tire. The place doesn’t look like much but friendly, fast & on target dollar wise. Plus no waiting & no one trying to sell me something else! WooHoo!

Just the nicest place to come up on when you blow out two tires. Came in grouchy and left wanting to give them more business.
Got in and out in 20 minutes. Fast and affordable. Both gentleman were super nice. I will definitely be back soon to do the tires on the other truck. Menla is just a really nice and honest businessman.

Since I was driving to Alabama, I realized that I needed a tire. Unfortunately, all tire places were closed. I called Menla at 7:15 and the lady stated that they close at 8, but on Unilocal it says 9. Anyway, David was outside, and he promptly changed my tire. He was genuinely a kind person, but the lady on the inside wasn’t friendly nor was she mean. Had I encountered her first, I wouldn’t return because I have had some great personalities in other places.
Overall, if I am in DC and need tire service, I will definitely come to Menla.

Cue Saturday afternoon, at a business meeting, I come and outside and DOH! not one but TWO flat tires… can you see the steam rising from my head on this cold day? Perhaps it melts the snowy sleet that is falling. Nah. Anywho, after waiting for AAA, I am towed to Menla.
It is funny, I pass by this place pretty much every time that I am in DC on GA Ave. and never really noticed this at all. The folk there were able to replace my tires within half an hour and away I went. The prices were reasonable, can’t complain considering my bind.
The people were nice and helpful. Plus my tires came with a legit 30 day warranty. So if you’re in a bind… look them up.

Fast, friendly and affordable. Took care of me right away on a Sunday afternoon! I may have been a total of 25 minutes waiting for them to take the punctured tire off and mount a usable one. $ 53 for a slightly used tire which was worth it and totally made my day.
