This place is okay. I’ve only ordered two items, honey bbq wings and fried potatoes (for breakfast). The home fries were horrible. They tasted like they could have been from the day before. They had absolutely no seasoning. I had to take them home and doctor them up adding seasoning and fried onions. On the other hand, the honey bbq wings are delicious. They are cooked perfect with not too much sauce. I guess I’ll just stick to the wings and leave everything else alone.
On my several occasions visiting this spot, there seems to be a lot of alcoholics that hang around outside. Turn off!

The Montello Deli has the best pizza in the city. I have lived in New York its the closest you can get to good pizza in Washington DC. The only bad thing about the place is they close at 3:30 pm.

Montello’s has good, tastey, variety of American foods delivered on a busy Montello Ave. NE Rd. accessible by Metro Bus. There prices are relatively moderate and they will work exceedingly well to get you in and out of their deli in a jiffy. Their staff is Asian. Among the variety of food on their menu are Hamburgers, breakfeast sandwiches, etc. Try them out. One of my frequent orders is their egg/cheese, meat breakfeast sandwich served on white or wheat breads with your choice of butter and jam.
