I have been attending Opera Lafayette since its inception in 1995 and as such know everyone it seems but THIS is exceptional opera in music quality, visual performance and overall ambiance. I have attended their performances at the Kennedy Center here in DC most times but also at the Lincoln Center in New York and at the Royal Opera House in Versailles, France. All have been exceptional, as are their CDs — I can not recommend more.
