Poor customer service! They only wanna give you a lil bit of fries with an combo and they gave me a tiny Red Stick chicken strip and tried now to give me another one until i asked the manager for a bigger one! Will go to another Popeyes!

My friends used to get popeyes all the time in college, and I suppose my tastes were different then because I never understood the hype. But now, the taste of popeyes makes me happy, coming in a close third behind bourbon and coffee. I brought popeyes to work one day and was amazed that even my snottiest of coworker was like«ah man, I wish I had known you were going, I would have given you money to buy enough for all of us». So this location in particular holds dear to my heart. It’s close to my residence and not too far from my job, and with many other locations in the district closing, this is becoming olé reliable. The staff is pretty friendly, and they keep the place clean as possible. I mean it is almost always packed, whether it is a few minutes after open, middle afternoon, or 30 minutes prior to close. Located next to Forman Mills, there is ample free parking. Go to the popeyes website and look up coupons for this particular location. 14pc with 2 large sides and 5 biscuits was somewhere around $ 21. I come here more than I would like to admit.

Did you ever stop and look at your receipt? You might have noticed a charge for ESF. I found out today that unlike all other restaurants and fast food places, Popeye’s charges a fee for using credit cards. This fee of $.57 represented 8.7% of my entire bill. Even American Express only charges merchants 2% to use their card. It’s one thing if Popeye’s advertised a cash only price, but this is not the case here. It’s just a hidden fee passed on to unsuspecting consumers. They even disguise it as an «ESF» fee. Popeye’s — have the courage to least call it what it really is — Credit Card Usage Fee.

Not bad comparatively speaking — staff does well under pressure, product consistent to other above average Popeyes.

This lunch stop was pretty good. Food was hot and a lot of tables to take a break. I’d come back here again for lunch.

This is the best Popeye’s in NE. There is always a line but that means that the food is always hot! The service is great and the place is always clean. I love this location!!!

Overall, the fried chicken has a nice flavor. I ordered the spicy and it was good. I also had a side of red beans and rice, which I liked a lot and one of their amazing biscuits. My only negative is the chicken seems to be a little on the greasy side. 3.0 stars:-)!!
