I brought in a three photo set I wanted side by side in a wide frame. When I came to pick it up I saw that the matting was over cut on a few corners. I inquired and the rude women got very offended and said well. The pictures you took aren’t perfect either! Haha… what a jerk! I don’t really care if good framing isn’t a discount. Good framing is important. I take lots of pictures and I frame and reframe thing constantly. Never go to these people, ever!!!

Very expensive and not as authoritative as other restorers. I got an estimate from them for antique frame repair and painting cleaning which turned out to be 4−5x more than subsequent estimates from other restorers. In addition, they mischaracterized the painting I brought in and did not have the technical depth and painting domain knowledge of other restorers. Perhaps they are good for framing but I would not use them for antique frame or painting restoration.

Way overpriced for even the simplest work. Extremely long wait times. Poor customer service and inflexibility in pricing. I tried this place because of a Living Social promo, but it seems that wasn’t much of a savings and was just a gimmick. If you have money to waste, go for it, but I’m sure there are other alternatives out there.

I’m giving this place 3 stars only because I’ve never completed an order here and I want to give them a chance as a small business and preservation specialist, NOT because of their service or pricing.
I would NEVER go here for a simple framing job. The simplest frame available for approx. an 9×13″ piece was quoted at over $ 185 EACH and that the wait was 3 – 4 months for 4 frames! There were no options to reduce the price or wait time.
I went online (metroframe) instead and got the materials for 4 frames custom cut in 3 days and assembled all of them myself in less than an hour. End cost for ALL 4? $ 212. How this place justifies charging the additional $ 528 for a simple job like this is beyond me…
