I personally knew the owners. The guy and his wife were both incredibly disrespectful towards me. They verbally assaulted me in the most malicious, hateful tone they could express and called me things I don’t want to repeat. There was no reason or explanation for their behavior, they’re simply haters. They thought they could do this and no one would know because I wasn’t a customer at their business. I was young and barely knew them and they didn’t know anything about me. I was friends with the owners sister in law and that’s how I came into contact with them. I’m glad their terrible attitude and negativity caught up with them and hurt their business. I knew in my heart back when this happened that these two are failures with money, and that it won’t last because success doesn’t want to hang around losers. I’m happy to see how many others don’t like the place and gave bad reviews. I agree with one person who asked why we can’t give this place 0 stars.

Zero star! Worst customer service, expensive food, dirty place, worst hookah bar i have ever gone! Still better than the Prince Café in College Park! Stay away from all Prince Cafes!

The bad reviews are not really justified in my opinion. I gave this a chance and I’m really enjoying myself. It’s not perfect but the seating is comfy hookah is pretty good. Good location. I haven’t tried the food

Terrible service smoke all around and outrageous prices no matter what never ask the owner suggestions on menu would recommend whats easiest to make just got ripped off $ 18 for having ordered steamed rice with lintels. I asked for water got a bottle for water and was charged $ 2 for a small bottle of water got a bill with 18%(room service) of gratitude added to it and I was all by myself. Such a bad experience all together! Thought they had indian food guess what no more! only Egyptian fast food.

Worst place in DC. Disgusting. This place is literally the most disgusting place I have been in my entire life. It’s dirty. It’s gross. Just walk in to see how run down it is. Not only that but it’s one of the most overpriced places I have ever seen with the most disgusting food. You are paying Ritz Carlton prices(which is just across the street) for the worst food I have ever had in a restaurant I mean McDonald’s is better. The tea which literally costs a dollar at McDonald’s costs a lot of money here after taxes and service charge. Run away at all costs. Zenobia across the street in Georgetown is a lot better but seems to have shut down also Muncheez right across the street has better food and the Ritz Carlton has a better late night hang out space for the same price as this place.

This is a last resort kind of place. Kind a like a greasy diner with hard waffles and runny eggs that you go to at 5AM after a hard night of drinking. Or the unattractive guy or girl you end up going home with that you were dancing with after 12 Irish Car Bombs. Anyway the food here is just okay. It’s Mediterranean, Middle Eastern with some Indian in the mix. Expect to find the usual suspects; hummus pita and dolma. The shisha is ok. I never put too much mind into it. The inside is pretty grungy. Sometimes they have a DJ who awful. He will attempt to play Dubstep house mixed with some Arabic. Last time I was there I would rather stab pencils in my eardrums than listen to it anymore. I guess if you are young and don’t get out much you might enjoy this place. Simply put it’s not for me, not my style I prefer a classier establishment. Oh have fun with the 18% gratuity and they add to your bill. This is normal with the party of five or more people but for 2 people… are you kidding me.

Well I don’t think anyone reads or care about reviews in this place. Just read it before go there. Don’t make that huge mistake as my friend and I did… Lipton tea is $ 12:) just saying. I asked for lemon they said they don’t have it. Hookha was bad as well. I felt like I am in old, dirty house with couple people who actually don’t even care that you are there! Please find better place to spend your evening:)

You come here for hookah right? Well, thats all this place really has to offer. It is REALLYUNSANITARY. Insanely dirty, I did not even want to sit, let alone eat anything. Service is ok. But, I’m a neat freak. If I was by myself, I would have left. I stayed to not be a party pooper.

Stay away. Menu prices say one thing, they will quote something else. Rude service. Dirty. There is a need for a quality hookah place in Gtown. If only this place were run better, they’d get so many customers.

Let’s look at the pro’s first, just because I’m feelin giddy. For starters, the hookah here is pretty good! It’s actually stronger than most cafés. The food & drinks here are pretty bomb too as well as the ambiance, it’s like Bollywood meets maryland. The customers are all real chill and nice, everyone keepin to themselves for the most part and overall good vibe. Now the cons are mainly the staff, some are nice some are rude some are just there. On busy nights(Thursdays, Fridays, saturdays) there’s usually a big staff, which means plenty of service right? DEAD, the majority’s talking amongst themselves and there’s only one or two walking around actually attending customers. The only reason I complain about this is because the charcoal jawnt will eventually need to be replaced but when you tell them, the only one working is too busy so he take a minute to finally attend you. Also it’s pretty pricey for a hookah joint, and they don’t have specials. Anyway i would recommend this place just go on a non-busy day, or ball. Up to you

Guys, get your Air conditioning system to work! It Is summer if you haven’t realized yet. The hookah was average. Starters are what we ordered. Okayish. You can do a better job with the music in place. Adds to the whole hookah experience.

I went to this place twice, they have good Hookah(Shisha), However the place is lil bit dirty, no wonder. I got Hookah and tea for about 25 $ for the 1st day. Got same order next day and billed 39 $. Room service 18%

Not even one star. Service was horrible. They charged me for a $ 4 bottle of water that I never ordered then had the nerve to take their time to give it to me AFTER I was charged for it. Then my friend ordered Calamari, took them 30 minutes to tell him they didn’t have any, so we ordered fried shrimp, she didn’t tell us they didn’t have any of that until we asked for the check. It took another 45 minutes to actually pay our tab. The hookah made my friend and I nauseous and it was the WORST hookah experience I’ve ever had!!! Please find another place!

HORRIBLE experience. That should be all you need to know. Find another hookah bar, unless you like to be overcharged for poor service.

the 3 stars were for the employees. very friendly, attentive and warm. you can tell its a family run business. the hookah itself was good. the pipe s and other materiaks were clean. place itself was clean. large place. the employee was quick to bring us another coal to keep our pipe«cookin». I noticed the same guy switching out everyones coals. the negatives: music was too geared to thugs and college kids. music system itself was garbage. the bass blew the speakers out long ago. it was one large subwoofer and speaker at the front. if you sat in front you could suffer hearing loss. if this place targeted an older crowd by playing chill/lounge music, it could do well. instead of targeting 18 yr old somethings. older folks woukd pay for food, several different hookas and probably double their revenues.

Now before you all go Stormin’ Norman’ on me, I DIDNOT eat here! Yes I know this location and many other locations of Prince Café were included on that«Do NOT eat places in the DMV area» and I took that grain of knowledge with me. Saturday night after the club, a friend and I went over to meet a group of friends who were there. Yes, we were hesitant knowing P.C. was on the«don’t eat me» list but we went for the company and looking back, we were GOOD friends. It’s late, like 4am on a saturday late but PC is one of the only places open until 5am on weekends so off we went to be GOOD friends. We walk in. It’s dark and I’m not so sure I’d make it out alive? The surroundings and décor are dingy to say the least, dirty to be fair. The dejay, bless his heart, must have been playing his ipod or something because there would be an awkward 15 second plause between EVERY song. So yea, I was that girl who’s yelling in conversation so that my friend could hear me and then PAUSE everyone and their mom hears whatever inappropriate thing I said– embarassing for many but not this gal– whoops! Our hookah came without a mouthpiece. Excuse me, who the hell gives a hookah without a mouth piece?! PC does! We asked for some and the waiter/manager gave us 2…2 mouthpieces for a table of 7… like come on what are those like a nickle a pop? Pray noone has mono, make everyone pinky swear they don’t have mono but let’s be honest, I wouldn’t be surprised feeling like I needed a shower, a tb shot, and sterilization walking out of there… Eeek! Me thinks not!

By far the worst Hookah spot in the DMV hands down. We saw 3 roaches against the wall and one caterpillar type bug. It was white. I don’t mean to trash a business like this but this is needed. Not to mention they are on the Health Hazardous list that WUSA9 released on their website for local DMV Restaurants. All in all, stay away. I hope they clean up and come back strong.

This place has been shut down numerous times for health safety violations(18 in total) which include rodent activity and large rat droppings. They even found a mummified rat in the kitchen! Avoid at all costs!!! Also, the owner’s annoying 10 year old son hangs out there till 4 in the morning asking people for cigarettes. Smdh…

Never, ever again. Prince not-so-charming definitely did not woo me into a re-do. Not being from the area but having heard so much about this popular late night spot, I long desired to go to Prince and see what all the fuss was about. Finally, after six months of marriage, Hubby and some friends decided it was time for an induction into the Prince club, literally. We arrived around 12:30 on a Friday night to a mostly empty establishment. Music was blaring through a half-broken speaker, so it sounded like a loud robot that wanted to throw up. We decided to sit as far away possible from the noise and even requested they turn it down slightly because it was so bad. Our waiter was friendly enough. We ordered the lamb saag and lamb gyro combo which came with fries and a diet coke. We also got a hookah for the table, but I did not partake, so I cannot tell you about that in particular. On the food side, HIGHLY disappointed it. The lamb saag didn’t taste much like lamb or saag, and the lamb gyro had really fatty pieces in it that were not flavorful at all. The only redeeming factor were the freshly fried french fries, but even those were not palatable — I left half my plate sitting. So, thanks for the induction, but I’ll try kissing another frog next time.
