Great customer service and food as always. They always have a great attitude and the order is always ready quickly. Thanks protein bar!

This is one of favorite places to get breakfast or lunch near Farragut. The staff is fast, good, and remembers your name. The manager is always smiling and willing to help out. Plus, the food is tasty and good for you! Highly recommend.

I will start out by saying that while I am giving this place 4 stars, I probably won’t be back to protein bar. I simply don’t likely quinoa and the raw juices/smoothies are out of my budget. However, it’s a clean, friendly place with fast service and if you are the type who enjoys quinoa and other healthy fare, you may love it.

The selection of dishes is diverse and everything I have tried has been great. The staff, particularly Martin and the manager Quintana, are always pleasant and willing to suggest new dishes based on my stated preferences. This is my go-to lunch spot and complements my workouts perfectly long work days.

Awesome menu selections, but customer service was just awful. The cashier had an attitude that I brushed off at first when I ordered, but when I came back to ask about the bathroom, she kept that attitude and didn’t tell me that the bathroom required a code for the lock. I came back to her(she still had that sass), and she told me the password and when I tried it, it still didn’t work and I came back to her and she told me it was probably because someone was in the bathroom. Alright… I highly doubted it and would’ve appreciated more help than that, but instead I decided to just eat and go home to use the bathroom. Nobody ever even came out of that bathroom the whole time I was there. As for food, I drank the monumental perk shake, which was kind of a basic chocolate-y protein shake I could’ve made at home(didn’t think it was worth the money if I owned whey protein at home and could’ve mixed it with a lot more ingredients for better taste). And I also ate the Korean Bibi Q(replaced the meat with tofu) which tasted great in portion size, spice, and flavor! The place definitely would’ve received 4 stars if it weren’t for the girl working there ruining my experience though.

A great place to grab a healthy snack or meal, however the portions are quite small relative to what they charge. But I guess that’s how they keep most items under 400 calories. Would recommend going here only if you’re feeling moderately hungry. If you do end up visiting, try out the Buffalo Bowl.

I’m disappointed in this location. The product is still good, but the morning staff is inattentive, careless and rude. The first few months this was not the case at all, but I will no longer be visiting this location for breakfast– better options with kinder service elsewhere.

the buffalo bowl… enough said. but really, if you don’t like spicy food, there are plenty of other bowls, salads, bar-ritos to choose from. consider me the happiest DC transplant. plus they have juices, smoothies, and it’s reasonably priced. and it’s quick– making it the perfect midday lunch option.

Of course the day I work out in the morning and am running late, is the same day the metro breaks down and we are ushered upstairs by the masses onto buses to the next metro stop. However, the trains were still running deciptively slow, so I decided to walk. Luckily I did otherwise I would have never discovered this marvelous place. I love the concept of protein bar. It gave off the healthier version of Chipotle vibe. The menu is nicely structured with visible and detailed nutritional facts for every item, so you know exactly what you’re getting. They do juices, smoothies, sandwiches, and bowls. I love pesto, so of course I got the pesto and spinach bowl, and it was amazing. By itself, the chicken was lacking flavor, but when I ate it mixed in with everything it was great. I thought the bowl was pretty filling, and there is a nice ratio of chicken to quinoa to spinach. The smoothie and juices also looked really good, but I at the time I just wanted food, but I definitely want to go back and try some the drinks as well.

Had the Baja Salad and it was fabulous. I like that they cut up the chicken in small pieces so that you get some in every bite. The greens were great! And who doesn’t love a big ‘ol chunka avocado in/on their salad. My only complaint is that my first time, I didn’t realize that there was salad dressing in the bottom of the big ‘ol bowl – yes, the salad had that much seasoning. The dressing was tart and delish. A block from my job – can’t wait to go back.

Came here for breakfast after our White House tour. I got the Monumental Perk because it had espresso protein in it and I thought that would provide some caffeine. Not sure if it did but I didn’t get a caffeine headache from not having my usual dose so I’m guessing it did. The smoothie was great! The chocolate flavor was very satisfying and it revived me so we could go tackle the Smithsonian. My boyfriend got the PB&J street which I may try when we go to the Protein Bar on 7th tomorrow.

First I would like to say that the food was excellent, I bought the black bean bowl with chicken and avocado and a federal appeal protein shake it was great! Secondly the service was the best, the cashier(young lady) was really nice and sweet and the young man(the manager) making my food was very fast and accurate. I will frequent here more often for dinner Great job guys

Let me start by saying, what an AWESOME concept! Healthy eating at its finest, whole menu was filled with delicious breakfast and lunch options ranging from salads to burritos, bowls, oatmeal, green drinks, quinoa bowls, any and every thing a healthy body craves! Michael met us at the counter, told us about the place, its locations, and his favorite menu items. Took his advice and got the spinach and pesto bowl, and it was outrageous! Chicken was super flavorful, pesto done just right, and the spinach fresh and complimentary. I loved it! Best part is that Michael came by our table,(keep in mind this is place your order at a counter style so its nice and quick too!) But needless to say, he didn’t have to stop by, he just genuinely wanted to make sure we had everything we needed and to see If we were enjoying our food… just, wow! He was so happy, welcoming, and it was just a totally unexpected experienece both on the food(amazing, High quality) and the service(top notch and yet there wasn’t even room on the bill for gratuity, so he did it just because!!!)) Hurry up and get to Orange county Protein Bar, you would be welcomed and very popular with this type of food AND service!!!

I don’t normally go to these places that openly cater to the health conscious, but I was grabbing lunch with a friend and she used to be a full blown vegetarian. I feel like this place is if a Robeks and a Qdoba had a baby. I did not bother getting a smoothie, cause I wanted solid food. Out of the menu choices I decided on getting the buffalo bar-rito…because I wanted something that sounded relatively unhealthy. Ironically it has the least calories(535) of the bar-ritos and on the lower end in terms of fat(16g). As for the food, I thought it was actually pretty good… but really how can you go wrong with buffalo flavors? It wasn’t dry, it was sufficiently flavorful, and the sizing was reasonable. If you’re a health conscious yuppie, this is your Chipotle chain… until you find your hipster burrito/taco joint behind the dumpster in the seedy neighborhood.

Giving it 4 stars because I never give a 5 star review on a first try. They gotta earn that!!! Anywho, I got the Sante Fe Bar-rito with avacado($ 1 extra). It’s very good! Very good flavor for egg whites, salsa, spinach, cheddar, avacado and cholula sauce. My only complaint is that it took me 4 whole bites(almost half the barrito) to get to a piece of avacado… not too happy about that at all… I’m not even halfway through and I’m almost full, which is usually a good thing. I can tell you now that I won’t finish this whole thing, which kinda sucks since I won’t actually eat my $ 1 worth of avacado. Oh well, lesson learned. I’ll give it another shot next week. Maybe the guy who made it was rushing or something.

AWESOME place to order staff lunches — their presentation of wraps, salads, chips, and cookies was perfect(all individually wrapped, cut in half, set in nice boxes with emblems) and everything was SO delicious! The delivery was on time and accurate(which shockingly is rare when ordering corporate lunches around here; ahem, potbelly/panera) and the delivery man was super nice and helpful. Even our older staff members(aka those who have no idea what quinoa is) thought the salad and burritos were incredible — a true hit! Thanks to the team at this location who made everything so easy :)

Stopped by to get a smoothie. I had the redline and added blueberries. It was really tasty, almost tasted like a desert without all the sugar and bad stuff. Only reason why I’m giving it 3 stars is that it’s super expensive. My smoothie was almost $ 8.

The price is VERY reasonable for what it is and they were great about subbing cucumber for apple in my green juice. I was a very happy camper :) Also, it is very conveniently located and very spacious inside.

I ordered a large Bucktown Green Tea with vegan protein and besides the price being $$$$$, the taste was practically protein powder. I’m happy with the overdose of protein but it tasted like pure protein powder. I replaced the banana with blueberries so that gave it a nice color. I didn’t taste much of the matcha green tea, which was kind of a huge disappointment since that was what drew me to that choice. I chose coconut milk but I found it strange when they asked me if I wanted regular or 2% skim. I’m pretty sure coconut milk doesn’t have those options. unless it’s new. ALSO, my cup wasn’t full. NOTCOOL. There was a good 1.5 cm missing! For the price I paid, that needs to be full! I also had the Hi-5 and that was pretty darn good. I think the cilantro gave it that nice kick. This cup was full. There’s plenty of options on the menu and I was interested in many but I just wanted a drink that day. The prices are a bit high and they could have blended my smoothie more but I would come here again and try the food next time. The staff is super friendly!
