Quest Diagnostics

This place is by far the worst lab, with the most inhospitable staff that I have ever been to. My job has required two visits to this location; both have been awful. The staff is very rude and does not seem to mind having a bad attitude toward the clients. I was hoping for a better experience this round and came with a positive attitude, but again I’m extremely disappointed and upset at being treated this way.

I went twice in a week. The first time I was 10 minutes late for an appt due to Metro delay and they turned me away. Second time I was on time. On both occasions the staff was unfriendly and rude. Like it was a burden I walked in the door.
On the plus side the phlebotomist did a great job on my blood draw. Pain free and fast.

Great experience, no appt. walked right in. Phlebotomist was great, had no trouble finding my veins which are often tough to get to. Was out in less than 15 minutes. Going back again to day for further blood work

After waiting for an hour a Phlebotomist starting drawing blood from my left arm. It was very painful, when I told her she took the niddle out in the middle of drawing then casually poked into my right arm. I was puzzled! Anyway I left the clinic thinking I am done but actually not. I started feeling my left arm heavy, then I realized it’s bruised and very painful, especially in night. It has been over a week and half since the incident and I still cannot use my left arm. I have been using hot and bold pads but haven’t improved much. I did the blood test many times in life but never went through this kind of painful experience. The clinic is under-​staffed and the Phlebotomist was clearly distracted while doing her job, very unprofessional and unpleasant!!!

When I come prepared to give a urine sample, waiting 35 minutes is not my idea of a good time. I asked the employee (apparently there was only one working that day) 20 minutes after my scheduled appointment how much longer it might be, and the response I received was a dirty look. Lady, you think you’re miserable? At least you’re being paid to be there, and hopefully you aren’t about to pee your pants!
I wasn’t the only person in the waiting room but, according to the sign-​in sheet, I was the only one who had made an appointment. Apparently that doesn’t make a bit of difference, because we were called back in the order on the sign-​in sheet regardless.
It’s a shame, because this location is so close to Trader Joe’s that it makes sense to come back here if I need to use their services again. However, I nearly could have made a whole trip to TJs in the time I spent in their waiting room, so I think I’ll try somewhere else.

The location is definitely way less busy than others in the city, but the service here is hit or miss. One lady was not very nice while the other was great. However, it’s in a nice building with other medical professionals but not near any metros or buses.
