I had my first experience with Ravenchase Adventures a few weeks ago. I participated on Pubs and Puzzles with a group of friends(2 who have done it before). When we arrived at the location we were immediately greeted by Josh, who was the one running the event. The event took us around Arlington trying to figure out puzzles and which places to go. Each clue was unique and it was a great time trying to figure out what bar to go to next. The bars had specials on drinks which was great considering some of the clues ask you to figure out the special drink to order. At the last bar is where everyone met. Everyone who participated was treated to a free drink from the people running the event. Pubs and puzzles is the only one I have tried, but I’m definitely interested in trying some other events. I would definitely recommend Ravenchase to anyone who is looking to do something fun and different.

Ravenchase Adventures designs and facilitates corporate teambuilding, private events, and all sorts of public adventure races worldwide. It’s like Amazing Race, Indiana Jones, National Treasure and the Goonies all rolled up into one ball of awesome! They have a kiosk in Union Station where you can walk up and purchase one of their many adventures — part scavenger hunt, part walking tour, part pirate adventure. It’s a fun new twist on tourism, and is great for anyone who likes a good puzzle to accompany their museum/tourist day. They also offer daily treasure hunts at 2:00pm as well as a do-it-yourself Black Skull package. The hunt is like doing the Amazing Race on the mall! And the Union Station adventure is great for parents and kids. Best of all, they will MAKEYOUYOUROWNADVENTURE. I want one to take my niece on a tour of the zoo, and they say they’re working on ones for the Smithsonians. It’s gonna make every fundraiser and birthday party I do from here out Way more interesting. I hope thy stick around DC, because its the coolest way to be a tourist(or host family/friend tourists) I’ve seen yet. I give it 4 stars because I want more! They’re just starting out, and I can’t wait to be impressed.
