Reinvent You Beauty Studio

Full disclosure: I know nothing about styling my hair. I knew I wanted to get my hair dyed (get rid of some gray hairs before my wedding) and that’s it. Also, I needed a place that could accommodate me coming after work and be metro accessible. Thanks to the lovely reviews below, I tried Kanithia at Reinvent You, and I was not disappointed. If it weren’t for the pin curls she put in my luxuriously, dark brown, straightened hair, I would be swinging my hair, back and forth on the metro right now.
And a discount for being a new customer. I’ll definitely be back!

Good: Kanithia is talented. Her shop is quaint and stylish, just like her. I really loved my hair and the products she uses. I wear natural hair and I’m trying to grow it out, so I didn’t utilize any of her cutting or color skills, but seeing her customers walk out was enough — their hair was BANGING! She definitely knows what she is doing, and does it very, very well.
Bad: I HATE WAITING, like HATE. During both visits I waited substantial time before being assisted. The first visit, I waited nearly an hour and half. The second visit, I waited 45 minutes (I was 15 minutes late — totally my bad, so there was an hour delay). The reality is, I’m a professional woman and I simply don’t have time to sit in the salon waiting. If my appointment is at 2 pm, I expect to be helped at 2 pm or shortly thereafter.
It’s a catch 22 though. Because of Kanithia’s talent, I will certainly be back. I pray the wait is shorter and her scheduling/​time management improves.

Kanithia is the best. She is extremely knowledgeable about hair and is beast at color services. I’m a customer for life!

I had the best experience at Reinvent this evening. This was my first time at the salon. I was referred by two people and, I must say from the time I walked in the door, they had great customer!!! Kanithia gave me exactly what I asked for and needed. I will be back every week to get my hair done. Thank you God for finding me a new stylist.
