I have been both doctors for many years and they are fantastic. The staff is helpful, friendly and customer focused.

The worst experience I ever had. Never tell you the price before giving you the treatment. The doctors are probably good but the two receptionists have serious problems. They are rude and impatient. They are in charge of billing. Once they charged me $ 140 which I was not supposed to pay. When I tried to make them understand the overcharge, they threatened me and said that if I didn’t pay the bill, they would not schedule any appointment. Definitely switch.

I’ve never written a review for a medical office but was so impressed by my visit this morning that I was inspired to write one. This is seriously the best dentist I have ever visited. Incredibly efficient, friendly, organized staff that makes you feel welcomed and doesn’t keep you waiting long. Dr. Schneiderman really made me feel like he cares about my dental hygiene, went out of his way to ensure that I fully understood everything he was doing and putting in my files, and very clearly explained areas that I questioned. I left the office thinking that if I stay in DC, then I have found the dentist that I’ll have for the rest of my life. Super impressed.

This is seriously the most pleasant medical office I’ve been to in DC. I am a new patient to this office(they take my sucky dental insurance that no one else seems to take). Dr. Scheiderman and the staff are great, for a number of reasons: 1. Both in person and on the phone, the staff are super personable — very friendly, zero attitude, always smiling, never putting you on perpetual hold. 2. Always ONTIME! This is major for me. They don’t keep you waiting, and you are in and out. However, they don’t rush you — I asked Dr. Schneiderman a lot of questions, and he took the time to answer them. 3. Dental care: My hygienist(forgot her name) was very good. Very thorough, but no pain at all. Dr. Schneiderman is also great. He replaced a filling for me recently, and his technique was wonderful. I could barely feel the needle for the anesthetic(lidocaine, I think?), and more importantly, he used the perfect amount. Not too little(i felt absolutely no pain while he was doing the filling), and not too much(I was pleasantly surprised about this — i was a bit numb for a while, but i didn’t have the typical hours-long facial paralysis and drooling that i have come to expect after getting a filling). Dr. Schneiderman mentioned that he has taught at the dental school at U of MD, and I’m not surprised. He’s very knowledgeable and really seems to enjoy being a dentist. I love that! I highly recommend this office!

Dr Schneiderman and Rebecca, the oral hygienist I see in his office, are both amazing. He is kind, personable, and seeks to reduce pain as much as possible, including building up anesthesia and being very careful so that even the needle doesn’t hurt. I had several old fillings redone and fixed some deteriorating teeth over the course of a three year span, in which he worked with me to create a treatment plan that addressed the most urgent items first. He gave me options on timing and costs so it fit my budget and schedule. Rebecca is great, managing my receding gum in a couple of places and giving good, realistic tips for those of us who don’t floss as much as we should. Dr Schneiderman comes in and checks on my teeth at the end of each cleaning so he is up to date with my needs even if I just come in for cleanings.
