Outstanding service, charming boutique with both up and coming local designers and recognized fabulous fashions! Highly recommend a visit.

What is there NOT to love about Ethan Drath’s quaint boutique on upper Wisconsin in Georgetown(Q cross street). I would have to go in every week when I lived there(until I moved to Alexandria) and could cater to my clothes addiction. Ethan does most of the purchasing– think quality and tailored and some of the best selections of designers. I’ve gotten Tory Birch, Tibi, Trina Turk, Annie Kuhn and other nice brands there. Sale time is the best! They also have a wonderful small men’s collection so my honey never gets bored. The staff is friendly, flexible and helpful… Once they got to know me, my sizes, and styles they could easily dress me up! Stop at this boutique– it’s a fun, personal experience!

I have shopped here for a long time and have always loved the clothes, the prices and the service. Just this past week however they went above and beyond. I was out of town and called them looking for several items. They remembered me, what I had ordered there before, knew my sizes and offered to custom order the items and have them delivered to me. I LOVE this store…

I lived across from this boutique for two years, so I am very familiar with it. It is lovely. From the selection of well-curated, classic pieces to the outstanding customer service, this store is among the best of Georgetown, a neighborhood most of my friends malign for snobbery, douchebaggery and other grim –erys. Well. While the occasional customer I used to spy with my big brown eyes *may* have strolled up the stairs in a popped collar, this boutique and its staff defy that stereotype. Like a tie or belt but wish it came in blue, not orange? The owner/manager/salesperson is enthusiastically willing to special order that color. They say, «It would be my pleasure.» and the thing is, *they mean it*. They host trunk shows regularly and have well-known brands like Lily or Petit Bateau; they balance those«names» with pieces from local artisans(my favorite: the striking, semi-precious jewelry they often carry). Additionally, this is the only place I know of in the city that stocks JPK purses in pristine condition(as opposed to the snagged, unwanted colors that occasionally show up at Nordstrom Rack, further up Wisconsin Ave in Frienemy Heights). The Sherman Pickey staff always greets me as if they are happy to see me, but I am chopped liver compared to my puppy, who receives cooing affection, lots of tummy rubs and extra treats from a pretty dish near the register. There’s always a big bowl of fresh water outside, for her or other four-legged neighborhood friends(or humans who like to do the centipede and then get thirsty). Attentive service, a well-chosen collection, unique local pieces and a dog-friendly boutique? I’m a fan. You might want to be, too.

One of my favorite boutiques! They have a great selection of classic clothes for both men and woman. The shop carries national brands like Lilly, Tory Burch, and Pink Tartan as well as harder to find ones like Elizabeth McKay and Jules Reid. Costumer service is fantastic, Elizabeth is always super helpful! Side note: If they carry a brand they can make a special order for you, so be sure to stop in and get your Barbour ect. without the crowds(and attitude) you find on M Street.

This great little shop in Georgetown stocks a selection of clothing and accessories for Men and Women. They describe their shop as «Authentically Preppy». I would describe the shop as… the supplier for my ideal life. An oiled Barbour jacket perfect for hunting on an estate, but more likely to be worn by me as I stand in line at the grocery store. Cool Vilebrequion swim shorts to wear in Palm Beach, that will only be worn at a Comfort Inn and cashmere sweaters that I will only wear when dinning at five guys. Quality and classic style come with a hefty price tag but the compliments I receive when wearing a tie from this shop just might be worth it

This has always been one of my favorite DC stores. They have the best selection of preppy clothes in the District! They also participate in the French sidewalk fair(which is usually around now, I think?) and last time I was able to get a J. McLaughlin skirt for $ 25! Furthermore, the staff is incredibly nice and helpful too!
