the whole experience was just awful. after click on the request, i was expecting my massage in an hour as advertised, it was on monday evening, i didn’t think it was busy. then i got a call that it would take a few hours later to get someone in and then… i had about 4 phone calls later to manage and organized and tell the person of all the details which i have already typed in the message section previously and told customer service about it.
the therapist was about 1 hour late, unorganized, unprofessional, very chaotic, and refuse to take off her shoes and yet wants to massage me with her feet!!! the thing that i have to dig out pocket change in cash or if you don’t have cash, we need to call in the customer service for parking fee to reimburse was annoying. there are free parking options as well.
the app suppose to be convenient, it is not. if we have to do 4 phone calls, i would just rather use non app service as it would be easier.
the customer service was nice but i’m not sure i want to risk it again.

My massage was great, super easy to book online and was able to request male or female therapist. I picked my own music and didn’t feel as nervous as I thought about them coming into my home. Very professional.

Jaime was amazing. Really really knowledgeable and extremely professional. She far exceed my expectations. I’m not exactly a massage connoisseur, but she was fantastic. Highly highly recommend.

Had a very painful therapeutic massage that left me sore, but in a «hurt so good» kind of way– you feel better 24 hours later. The therapist was very thoughtful with his moves and really took the time to hear me out about my problem areas.
It was so nice to be able to get a massage at 8pm at night and not even have to leave my apartment. I would 100% do it again.

Giving two stars because customer service was nice. However, I’m curious to know if they would have contacted me to let me know my therapist cancelled. I called customer service about a different question and when looking at my account they told me the therapist couldn’t make it to the appointment because of ‘car trouble’. My appointment was at 6 and I called a little after 5 and found this out– no one called to tell me.
They rescheduled with someone else, only to call back 15 mins later to say the therapist couldn’t make it because of ‘car trouble’.
They offered $$ off, but I’m not entirely sure it’s worth it just be continually cancelled on. Good luck to you if you dare to book with them. Doubt I would spare another evening for cancelled appointments.

The idea is absolutely genius and I’m completely sold. As a working mom I rarely get a chance to pamper myself. I used soothe to book a couples massage in our home after our girls went to sleep one recent night. Hubby and I had a great evening together and we didn’t even need to schedule a babysitter. I recommend it to parents especially. My suggestion for true pampered pleasure: recreate the spa environment as much as you can– make sure you have gentle music playing, light some candles, etc. My only wish for the soothe masseurs – it would be great if they had aromatic oils for some extra aromatherapy indulgence. But even without that, it’s still 5-​stars in my book. Will be using them again.

Heaven in our living room. My husband and I booked a couples massage and got a same day appointment. The therapists arrived on-​time, were professional and highly skilled. We will definitely use them again when we want to treat ourselves. I frequently get massages, but I love not having to travel to get a great massage. After they left, I just went up to bed and slept very soundly.

This is my first time using Soothe and it really helped me in a pinch. I had some very painful neck and shoulder tension and was desperate for a massage, but my daughter came down with something so I was stuck at the house. It may have been the first massage this therapist has done with a toddler watching «Daniel Tiger» in the background but she was kind and flexible and did an awesome job. This tired mama feels so much better! A word of caution: Because Soothe is new to DC, I wasn’t able to get the massage until several hours after I booked because the number of therapists in the area on the service is still modest. But this will grow and be great. And, customer service was very helpful in getting me an appointment that worked for me.
