Love Mrs. Trahn. she stands behind her work. prices are VERY reasonable. Only challenge with using her is that her hours are limited.

This is a tiny shop with a very nice lady operating it. Your clothes are shipped elsewhere. I used their services through the concierge of one of the local buildings, the Woodward. I lost nearly $ 3,000 worth of clothes when all my items were lost. Not an item stained, or *one* piece lost. All pieces lost, no compensation whatsoever — their insurance does not cover it, they did not offer any sort of compensation (which I understand dry cleaners are supposed to, some multiple of the price of cleaning the item costs). Needless to say, I won’t be using their services ever again, nor do I recommend them.

Tran, the Vietnamese woman who works at Southern Cleaners, is an amazing tailor. I work in the building and colleagues recommended her. I started with small items to see if her work was good (I admit I’m a very picky customer), and she’s always so fast and perfect in her craftsmanship. Today, I took a complicated Neiman Marcus dress to her, and even though she thought it would be hard, she took the job and did amazing work – she narrowed the dress along the sides and found a creative way to shorten the sleeves despite complicated designs/​lace-​work there. Plus, she did it for me immediately because I was in a time crunch. (Neiman’s tailor, by contrast, was going to charge double the price and needed at least 2 weeks for the job.)
It’s too bad there are a couple of negative reviews for this business. Tran is wonderful and is an amazing tailor.

Not so great. She doesn’t do wash and fold, and I’m not sure SHE actually does anything but alterations — it is all sent out which left me feeling like I’d overpaid the middle man. More importantly, my stuff wasn’t ready when she said it would be and I specifically pointed out a drop of coffee on a shirt which I just noticed is still there. I’d only give her any stars for convenient location.
Also, the cleaners is located inside of an office building on the first floor.

When I picked up my suit jacket from this cleaner they had decided for no apparent reason to roll up the sleeves and press them that way. I pointed out that the sleeves weren’t supposed to be rolled or creased that way and asked to have the jacket pressed properly. However, the lady argued with me and said that the sleeves were designed to be pressed that way. When I insisted that they were NOT supposed to be like that (I think I would know — I’ve had the suit for quite a while) she told me that If the sleeves weren’t rolled up then they would be too long for my arms, proceeding to hold the jacket up to me to show me how they would be too long. As I paid good money to have the jacket tailored to fit my arms, the sleeves are NOT too long, and only after she realized this did she agree to re-​press the jacket. Due to her half-​hearted attempt to fix her mistake, I now have unsightly creases in the sleeves of a very expensive jacket. I won’t be back.

I love this little dry cleaning shop! It’s located in a lobby, from 15^th Street enter the doors to the left of Devon & Blakely. It’s on the right hand side of the hallway. It usually takes a day or two for services and the prices are a little higher than other places, but I have been impressed with the quality and the woman who works there is really nice. It’s super convienent to my office and I can get in and out quickly.
