I think this is a fair review based on only one visit so far but I will make sure to come back and update. It is a kiosk inside of Safeway, so that alone, limits some of their capabilities versus a full blown storefront, brick and mortar starbucks. I caught the barista as she was leaving the kiosk but she saw me, and granted, i could have just been walking into safeway, she instinctively walked back just in case, which I thought was nice, considering it may have legitimately been her break time(I mean… I was getting coffee at 10am, not 8am lol, so late by average standard). She patiently took my order(at which time I noted her name for future reference-Jhane) and proceeded to start it while I fidgeted with my phone to get the app open to pay. My drink was promptly made and she was very cordial. So maybe, just maybe, I got lucky, compared to the other reviewers, but most of the reviews are also outdated. This one is actually really close to me, and now knowing I can get my guaranteed-made-exactly-how-i-expect-it-albeit-basic-b*tch-coffee-drink within walking distance, I will come here more often. Plus its a nice all one stop shop since I can grab a few grocery items at safeway if needed!

The other two reviewers are NOT exaggerating. You barely even get a hello. When making a drink request, it appears that you’re interrupting their busy schedule with trivial demands. Go effing figure. And yes, most(not all) of the baristas will drag their feet. Mind you, the list of drinks consists of the simpler options. I have started an order, stepped away to shop, and then returned to pick up the beverage on the way out of the door. I only go to this one due to convenience. Otherwise, I’d go elsewhere.

Been here a couple of times and it always takes 20 minutes just to get a coffee. The workers here couldn’t care less and will not move any faster even when the line keeps getting longer. Go to a different one

I was so excited to have a Starbucks in Noma! …Until I realized it was going to take 20 minutes to get a drink every time I was in there. When I worked at Starbucks we had a 3-minute rule(3 minutes from walking in the door to receiving your drink), and we were the busiest store in the county at the time. This was in California. This location would definitely fail. I’m sorry, but who has 20 minutes to get a coffee?! I went back to Tynan.
