Long term business owners in the neighborhood. Sometimes they can be very rude to customers, they go outta their way sometimes providing services that other stores don’t. Very confrontational with some customers when not necessary. Products are not reliable, but it is a dollar store, so you get what you pay for. The store needs some cleaning & painting done, at least they keep the back of their business clean & trash free. Another store that has never had any community interaction involving the patrons of the neighborhood that support it. When they suck all the money out da hood they can at least take one day out of the year & give back. Another reason we WELCOMEWALMART.

Completely appalling staff(maybe owner?) — Rude, bad temper, and discriminatory. While I was in the store a woman wanted to return a pre-paid cell phone. The guys behind the counter want to know if something was defective. Woman speaks limited English softly. The staff immediately starts yelling loudly«W-H-A-T I-S W-R-O-N-G!!!», «NORETURNS». The woman is politely explaining that the phone doesn’t open. The head staffer is shouting at her, «the phone is fine, you don’t know how to use it» and«go home and learn how to use the phone yourself, no returns!!». The woman is still speaking softly about the cell phone problem, so the employee is blind with rage now, screaming«read the return policy, can’t you read?!?». Then with half a pause he starts reciting the return policy on the receipt. When he’s done he harumphs, «Now i’ve given you a reading lesson». He continues, «S-E-L-L P-H-O, that spells no returns on cell phones!» Then he storms away from the counter where 4 other people are waiting to pay for things. He pacing up and down the aisles yelling, «stupid people don’t know anything, fucking customers are so dumb» and generally cursing out the customers. From the back of the store he yells to the other employee, «Don’t talk to her anymore!» 1. The guy didn’t need to curse. Of course he could be upset or firm with the no-return policy, but is it a good business practice to call the customers«fucking morons» when they can hear you? I was planning on buying $ 20 worth of stuff but after I heard the staff verbally assault the woman, I left. 2. I don’t trust their products to be in working condition and I don’t trust the business to exchange or refund anything. ew yucky yucky.
