Honestly, I think this Taco Bell is the best restaurant in the District, hands down. Good food, not deathly unhealthy (stick with the beans and limit the amount of tortilla!), consistent, cheap, and perfect to take away and enjoy next to a jealous neighbor on the train.
After all the restaurants I’ve tried in DC, at all price levels, I continue to be disappointed. For some unknown reason, people have accepted really, really bad food in DC. I hear it’s changing, but I continue to wait to see it in reality. Until then, Taco Bell will continue to be my savior.

#3: Order several Cheesy Bean & Rice Burritos. Have them ADD pico de gallo!
