Working with Lee was a wonderful experience, from start to finish.
Initial Contact:
I put together a list of about 12 contractors I thought were qualified for my job, a demo/​renovation of an interior bathroom in our rowhouse on U St. I got 3 calls back from the 12, and Lee was prompt and easy to sit down with for an initial evaluation and estimate.
Scope of Work:
He and his team completed the entire job, which entailed new flooring, electrical, plumbing, a wall rebuild, and painting, three days ahead of time. They moved fast without being sloppy, and Lee was in constant contact with me on touchup questions and aesthetics. He worked with me on price and budget, but didn’t sacrifice quality at any point I could tell.
Comparison:
I’ve had several other contractors come in in my five years in DC, and most blatantly overcharge for unnecessary line items, and I’ve had to learn that that hard way. This was honestly one of the best home contractor experiences I’ve dealt with, and would recommend Lee and his team based on their work on my place. While my job was relatively simple — no load bearing work, major electrical/​plumbing rework, etc — Lee and his team’s professionalism for even a somewhat smaller job like mine I think puts them in good stead for a wide range of projects.
