I lived here 2005 – 2006, and it was at that time a great deal (well under $ 1000 for a very nice studio with walk in closet and high ceilings). It looks like the prices have since gone up about 25%.
It’s a well-​run building with a full service front desk. For example, they accept all packages and hold them for you, a service that I miss very much now that I’m without it. The management is friendly and responsive.
The location is decent — only a 5 minute walk down to the Van Ness-​UDC red line stop where there is also a Giant grocery and the ubiquitous CVS. The neighborhood is a bit on the boring side, but is a short walk to Cleveland Park.
